The Clover - Restaurant in Pune - Pune, India

A really decent place and we loved the beer over there which is brought from Doollaly. The food is good as well and this place isn't too costly. The maintenance of the place could be better since we could see signs of uncleanliness at some places. Special shoutout to the waiter who was handling our orders whose name i don't remember exactly but is probably "Deep Singh Kudiyal", he took great care that all our requests are well catered with. Set in an old bunglow this place is beautiful decorated and the ambience is just wonderful! If nothing else, just because it has preserved the bunglow I would rate it high! The service was quick, polite and the recommend dishes were very good. We started with Chilly chicken, which had less salt, but other than that was perfectly spiced and cooked. For mains we had Pepper Chicken and Chicken Strogganoff. Pepper chicken was out of this world! Chicken Strogganoff was good but nothing close to what real Strogganoff is supposed to be (see pictures). Actual Strogganoff is creamy sauce usually with mushroom and pasta. This was more like fried rice with chicken. Hence 4 stars.

Visited clover bar and kitchen a few days ago and is a nice place set up in a bungalow with pretty ambience. Overall good food and if you visit the place, the things I liked and would recommend would be the angara chicken , where they put the chicken on fire and light it up putting on an wonderful show and the khao suey. The cocktails are well made and the service is pretty quick too.

It's a nice an cozy restaurant. The ambiance is really nice; an old house is very nicely converted into a restaurant with outdoor and indoor sitting with good lighting and ventilation. It's a restaurant and bar and the bar counter is neatly designed. The food quality was good and the portion was better. Preparations were slightly different and the menu is not unnecessarily confusing. There are limited options but from a really wide cuisine range which includes Indian , oriental, continental, indo-chinese and Italian. The Indian breads were perfectly cooked and the garlic naan was one of the best I have ever tried. There is good range of beverages also to accompany your meal. Overall food quality is worth it. I felt service was not on point, maybe it could be due to the less crowd. Even though very few tables were occupied, it took long time to serve the orders. Hotel staff was not well versed with the menu. Service needs little improvement. A good place for families, friends or even corporate food gathering. Parking for 2-wheelers was not an issue. It was worth a visit.

Amazing chicken popcorn. Good fries. and Amazing Ceasar salad and Burnt Garlic rice. Adding photos to the same review 1 year later and 3 visits later with same order 2 times.

If you need to sip a beer or a drink quietly without the bar destroying your privacy, come here. Ambience may not be top class, yet you enjoy the food, drinks and service. Staff needs training badly, but still it doesn't come in the way of your quiet mood. And it is pocket friendly too. In 600 pp, we enjoyed everything. Do try.
