This hostel will always have a special place in my heart because of the many good memories I carry from my stay with them. The facility is well maintained and clean at all times. The food there is amazing no matter if it is breakfast or dinner, everything is delicious. But to me what made this place so special were the hosts and the many interesting travellers that I met while being there. Worth to mention that during Diwali celebration they prepared a huge meal and many different typical sweets that they do for the occasion, and shared their special day and traditions with all of us that were staying that night at the hostel and made us feel like being part of the family. Many thanks for that! Hugs from this cuban girl !!
It's very amazing place to stay with group of friends. Owners of this place are very supportive and helpful. We checked in early still owner gave us the place to stay. Food here is awesome compared to other local restaurants. Comfortable and clean rooms and huge hall with painting and books makes you feel very positive. I look forward to visit again this place and create one more the bunker story

The Bunker, is located at Dharamkot - few Kms from Mcleodganj. While you need to trek a while to reach this property, I feel it's a very good thing since you will get to stay far away from the hustling life. The check-in and check-out here is extremely smooth, not to forget the friendly staff. They're extremely friendly and are willing to listen anytime, offering suggestions, advice. Oh and they've many pet dogs here which are so adorable. The property also has an in-house cafe offering very good food at affordable pricing, something I truly appreciated during my stay (Oh and don't miss their hot chocolate) During our recent stay, it snowed at night and we woke up to a truly spectacular sight the next morning. My first of many snow experience began at this place and will cherish it for a long time. Given that the place is still away from the main streets, you get to experience nature at its best. The sight of sparrows chirping right on top of our table in the cafe is also something I'll never forget in my life. Will recommend for all young travelers out there.
Feels like a better home! As friendly as it gets, you'll feel totally at ease with the lovely staff, the other travellers and the two dogs From the top of the hill you have amazing views on the valley. You will be served tasty homemade recipes. Book a spot and don't forget to bring your creative soul for check-in: you'll find other artists and musicians to jam with and share inspiration. Must go!
Must visit for solo or a group of friends. We've been the bunker just once and can't wait to to get back again. Wonderful new friends and memories. Their live music with barbecue nights and bonfire are totally worth it. Special mention to Jai for helping us with a smooth transition.
Bunker's is one of the places that I want to return to. Its placed in the beautiful surrounding of Dharmakot village, a walk of 2kms from where the auto or cab would drop you, very near to Zostel. The rooms are extremely well maintained. I was in one of the dorms, during my vacation. The food at Nomad's Cafe (right on top of Bunker's) was amazing. I bet there is no other combo in chilly weather and hot chocolate. The view of Bunker's was mesmerizing, still afresh.
Being the first hostel in Dharamkot, the Bunker warrants one of the best locations and views, right in the laps of the hills. Having visited their Bir property and falling completely in love with it, I had to visit the Dharamkot property and it was exactly what I had imagined and more. Warm and friendly staff, good food and cosy common areas are some of the aspects that would want you to keep extending your stay. Sanjeev, their property manager and chef, will go out of his way to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. There are also a great deal of cafes right around the property with amazing choices of food. All in all, MUST VISIT.
