We had lunch at this restaurant. We got some authentic ladakhi food here. The food was great and the ambience is very beautiful. It's just at the start of the leh market and opposite to old Tibetan market. Good place to hangout before or after shopping.
We had gur gur chai and veg and non veg chu tagi here. We also ordered for egg fried rice which was very tasty and more than enough for 2.
I ordered chicken shapta and rice. I wanted to try some Tibetan dish and didn't know what's like but it turned out it was delicious. The rice is a big portion so I recommend you share with two people.
The waiter was friendly, the atmosphere was good.

Welcome to have some Tibetan dishes if you're keen to.
The ambience is superb. The food is delicious and served in quick time. Staff is courteous and good to respond. We ordered for Mutton Thukpa, Mutton Shapta, Chicken fried rice and chicken crispy. They even have stuff to serve in hot sips. We ordered for Kavha, Ginger lemon tea. Overall had a wholesome meal, thanks to our dear friend Nurbo, who got us here.
Went there after reading the misleading reviews. The food was just about okay, but the place lacks warmth or a welcoming feeling. The waiter tried his best to serve me properly, but seemed lackluster. No WiFi, endless wait for food. If you request for a smaller portion size (for single person), they will flatly refuse and will end up serving you so much that it will all be wasted. In the age of solo travelers and vibes, if they act so disinterested and inflexible, how will guests feel welcome? No wonder, the place was empty during peak season.
A perfect view of namgyal tsemo from its windows, a statue of black necked crane surrounds it with a perfect beauty and the food is amazing. I suggest you to try veg and non veg Tibetan thali.
Ambience and Food is Good.
