Tea Dale - Home Stay in Munnar - Idukki, India

Good stay at Tea Dale, owners were helpful and provided a very good free breakfast and cheap home cooked dinners and is in a good location for trekking. Owner also helped us out by doing our laundry when we were desperate. We stayed in the cheapest room which was extremely basic for the price. One downside of the hotel is the extreme amount of litter surrounding the hotel, was honestly in shock driving up as it was really bad even for India - would be good if the hotel owners could help manage this.

This home stay is very comfortable and the people are so friendly. And the food is so delicious. As per our requirement they will provide food for us. For the family trip it's highly recommended. Safe and secure. And they are providing the taxi as well for the site seeing... The taxi brother was so good to us. He is so calm and composed. Overall it was an very good experience with the "tea dale".

If you're visiting Munnar this is a great spot to stay. It's on the edge of town but you can TukTuk into the centre within 15 minutes. Clean rooms and a really friendly host. The day we checked out he let us store our bags for an extra day, allowing us to go camping with less gear.

Tea dale was a great place to stay for the duration of our trip. The host made us feel at home and was very polite. The location is close to munnar, and the host gave great recommendations for what to do in munnar to make the most of our trip. The rooms were clean and had a nice Mountain View.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel managed by Mr. Kani Raj. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Our family spent 3 nights here, and the spacious and tidy rooms made our stay comfortable. The well-maintained bedsheets and linens added to the pleasant experience. One of the best things about the hotel is that every room overlooks a beautiful tea garden, providing a refreshing view. The complimentary breakfast was not only plentiful but also delicious, making our mornings delightful. What truly impressed me was Mr. Kani's thoughtful assistance for my elderly mother, who uses a wheelchair and cannot climb stairs. He went above and beyond, helping her with the wheelchair at the stairs, ensuring her comfort and ease. Only roadside parking is available. I recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and caring stay with picturesque views. Kudos to Mr. Kani Raj and his team for their exceptional hospitality!
