This place strikes a nostalgic chord. Love the vibe of this place. The food and the budget friendly meals. The Music. Feel like a young 90s kid from the Gen X hanging out with the newbie Gen Z's.
A special 'Brownie' point for the brownies. The best in town hands down.
In Dibrugarh there is no proper milk service available for Milk tea, tried multiple tea at many locations in dibrugarh, Tea break has one of the best available... Will visit again, so any Chai lover can visit and try at least satisfying Tea is available "don't compare other state Tea when you are in Assam you will be disappointed"
Never going there again. Worst hygiene inside where they cook. And they fed me parasites and had to suffer for a week. I got weaker and I am recovering now. They don't wash the veggies, that must be the issue. Stay safe, don't eat there.
I have had a great time at this place. Whatever I had, I found them to be very delicious. The menu has some interesting must-have items. That's exactly what that locality/area needed. As the area has a lot many PGs/ Hostels/ Schools/ Colleges, I'm very much sure that this food joint can very well cater to the needs of young school-college goers and general public at reasonable prices.
Recently, we visited Tea Break, a cozy cafe known for its wide variety of menu items. We decided to try their Cold Coffee with Ice Cream and Sardi Waali Maggi. While the Cold Coffee was enjoyable, we found it to be slightly overpriced considering the portion size.
However, our experience with the Sardi Waali Maggi was disappointing. Firstly, it wasn't the traditional Maggi brand noodles but rather a different brand like Wai Wai or similar. The noodles were cooked with excessive amounts of chili and a few spices, resulting in a dish that was overwhelmingly spicy but lacked any distinct flavor. Surprisingly, it didn't even include the regular Maggi tastemaker powder that adds to the classic Maggi taste.
The cafe itself is quite small, with limited seating available. However, it has an appealing atmosphere that caters to the preferences of Gen Z. We appreciated the attention to detail in branding, as their cutlery, packaging, and tissues were all adorned with the cafe's logo. The overall presentation and ambiance of the place were well-maintained.
Our suggestion to Tea Break would be to focus on improving the food quality and taste. While the cafe's aesthetic and branding are commendable, ultimately, it is the taste and quality of the food that truly matter. We may consider giving Tea Break another chance in the future, hoping for an enhanced culinary experience.
My most favorite chill out spot in Dibrugarh. The friendly owner Sahil has made all foods mouthwatering!!!
Must try the Afgani momos, Club sandwiches and the Adrak Chai
The quantity they provide for the food is so less . Dont order any sandwich as u will be getting only 2 pieces of bread without any stuffing that too at a price of 150
The food was tasteless and overpriced
Dont waste your money here
Love the food, the service and the music. A little extra space could help.
