We went in July, which is an off - season and hence got the rooms quite cheaper (1600/-) than the usual price. There are pros and cons to choosing this place to stay.
Pros:
1. Amazing view from all the rooms.
2. Good infrastructure and service people.
3. Big and good enough rooms at low prices (provided you visit in off-season.
4. Free WiFi (matters to people who need to work remotely, as network isn't always great)
Cons:
1. Location is a bit far from the centre and gangtok being a multi layered city with extremely steep roads, it isn't possible to walk to the hotel (although we walked from the hotel to centre many times, as it's a downslope. But even walking downslope is not an easy task in Gangtok). So have to pay 200/- to cabs every time you go out for basic things.
2. Restuarant was not fully functional, although they offered to make us anything we wanted.
3. There's a parking lot next to the hotel that causes lot of commotion every morning.
4. Wall mixer was not working in the bathroom, so we couldn't use the shower. The outlet was too small, so using the bathtub was a headache as draining it causes a flood inside the bathroom (because of inefficient outlet)
5. Seemed like a lot of the things put in the room were broken or torn (kettle, blanket cover etc) because they didn't care about off-season customers as much.
Visited Gangtok in May last week 2023 & stayed in Mann Tamrind hotel.Hotel was nice.Staff was really friendly. The room no doubt was big but the sheets were not clean.They didn't change the sheets used by previous guest even after telling them to do so.And toiletries were not sufficiently provided acc to a 4 star hotel.Breakfast was nice & filling but they should improve their dinner menu.
Very nice property located on main road. Rooms are spacious and cozy ambiance. Hotel staff is polite and takes care of all your needs. Food here is very delicious and they provide various options in buffet as well as A la Carte.
We had the best of experience here. I visited with my family and was completely smitten by the beautiful and spacious rooms. The service, hospitality and the ambience were all world class. I had a bath tub available as well which added to my joy. I highly recommend this property
This is one of the best stays I've experienced ever. The staff is so co-operative and the interior of the hotel is a designer's dream. The view from our room just took our breath away. The sun rising over the hills in the morning is a memory that will remain with me forever.

Hotel is good. Location and surroundings are beautiful. Rooms were clean and up to the mark. 1 star less because hotel services were not good. Had to call twice to get rooms cleaned. But staff was polite and well behaved.
It was a lovely experience staying in this hotel. room and food was quite good as compared to our stay at another hotel. All hotel staff really took good care of us specially the manager who ensured that all our issues are addressed in time. mg road is just 10 min walk or else you can get taxi any time from hotel that was the best part. will visit with my parents soon.
