Excellent tourist attractions for Indo- Bangladesh border. Everybody must visit once in a lifetime to see the border transit in Dawki, Meghalaya. It's a very busy border as compared to Suterkandi, karimganj, Assam. Road conditions are not so good as loaded trucks are always running throughout the border. It is very much exciting to see the foreign (Bangladeshi)people as close to us. Security is properly maintained in the border .

India - Bangladesh border, Zero point.. good experience to see all these places and the Border Security Force that protects our borders and constantly patrols it. The road is bad considering the fact that a huge number of trucks cross this place for trade purposes.

Though there was no harassments but we had to wait in line for about an hour. It is a manual system checking so it takes time while departing. Upon arriving it just took 10 minutes overall. Stuffs were helpful. We had to give 100 tk per person while departing. Overall beautiful place. People just come to visit and take pictues. Tamabil Baddhovumi is adjacent to checkpost.

Its also called Friendship Gate, if you are in Dawki you must visit this border post with Bangladesh. However its not developed like other modern border. India need to develop this area and have good road and infrastructure to show case its development.
