Everything about Hotel Swiss is wonderful! Excellent accommodation and location in Srinagar. The hotel is located on a quiet street yet just a few minutes walk from Dal Lake. Lovely garden for relaxing. Rouf, the manager, is so kind, charming and helpful. I will definitely stay in Swiss Hotel when I return to beautiful Kashmir!

We had a wonderful experience at Swiss Hotel. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to meet our needs. Perfect location near the lake. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Srinagar. Thank you Swiss Hotel!

L'hotel est tres bien place, il y a un jardin tres agreable devant ou il est possible de prendre son petit-dejeuner au calme, mais le plus grand plus est la gentillesse et l'humanite de Mr Rouf le gerant de l'hotel. Je voyage seule et j'etais malade quand je suis arrivee a Srinagar, avec une tres forte fievre, ce qui n'est jamais agreable quand on est loin de chez soi. Mr Rouf a ete formidable et m'a aidee a aller au centre medical, puis a pris de mes nouvelles continuellement, s'est assure que j'avais tout de dont j'avais besoin pendant ma convalescence. Je me suis sentie vraiment en securite, et ensuite, le personnel de l'hotel m'a aussi aidee pour les transports, les recommandations concernant les restaurants, les lieux a visiter, et je n'ai jamais ete decue. Merci et encore et a bientot j'espere :)

We really enjoy the time in SWISS Hotel. It's located just off the noisy main road but very near to the lake. Really nice garden to sit in there with the friendly and very helpful owner Rouf, an extremely charm person and a rich source of local knowledge. You can be freely ask him how much stuff should cost before you head out. My son and daughter enjoy a lot the time with Rouf. The rooms are very comfortable and made in wood style. You will be very glad you stayed here.

Thank you Swiss Hotel, it was a wonderful experience putting up in this property as the location is perfect.. The hospitality was bang on...the staff is very supportive and the services were dotting.. It's easy to commute any where in the city, even the eating joints and Market is at walking distance.. I'll recommend everyone..

The hotel swiss is a quiet location close to attractions. The owner was helpful when he was there! Also he was disappointed to hear about issues and offered a partail refund without prompting - which was extremely kind. However the place is tired and dirty and is trading on its past. The rooms could do with a little tlc and clean. The beds are extremely uncomfortable with uber thin matresses and hard pillows. Lack of hot water was a probelm as the hotel only had hot water from 20.80pm to midnight. However, the coffee was exceptional good depending on who made it and this sums up the hotel - inconsistent. The nearby hotel brown Palace is much value in the same price range.

We stayed at swiss hotel for 3 nights...and what a wonderful stay it was... Everyone at this beautiful property is soo helpful and goes out of their way to make you comfortable is commendable. The hotel is located just 5 mins walk from dal lake...rouf, the owner is a very sweet and hospitable guy..who is ready to help you in every way possible... Over all we loved our stay here...and would surely recommend this place without any apprehensions....

Home away from home. Off the noisy main road. Very nice garden to sit in and chat with the friendly and very helpful owner Rouf and his assistant Altaf. Comfortable guesthouse style rooms with wood panelling. Recently renovated during COVID. Rouf and Altaf are an invaluable source of local knowledge and can help book day tours with private drivers. Ask them how much stuff should cost before you head out. They will tell you the proper prices. Also Roufs father has a small store on the second floor selling high quality pashminas at excellent prices. You will be very glad you stayed here.
