Susegado Microbrewery - Brewpub in Calangute, Baga - North Goa, India

The reason this isn't a hit is because they don't serve food. It has all the makings of an uber cool brewery. The atmosphere and ambience is all great. The service staff, which is just one person, went out of the way to help us get some food by ushering a waiter from a neighbouring restaurant. The beers were great, the American IPA, Vanilla Porter and English Ale are my picks. Order some beers off the tap and swiggy some food if they allow it. Or carry the beer to your hotel room. Not to be missed.

Probably missed the memo! Walked in on a Saturday evening around 6:30 and I was the only one there till I finished my beers and left after 7:40! But the beers were excellent so wasn't bothered about being the only patron. The Vanilla Porter was absolutely fab, with vanilla and coffee notes balanced. Surprised that a place with such great beers lack patronage in Goa.

This place is very cozy and well maintained. They had a chooser pack with all different types of drinks they brew which helps you choose better. The food was also delicious and we enjoyed the lunch with a couple of starters and Goan fish curry meals! Overall a nice experience and would definitely recommend this place.

This Microbrewery is the best thing in Baga. There's live sports showing and Karaoke. But the best of all are the flavors of beer they serve. They have six types of beer. Food is also good.

A beer garden located in one of the busiest streets of Goa. Liked this place for a variety of reasons but the one that tops the list is their freshly brewed beer! Yep, Goa has it's very own microbrewery and good times are always brewing here! A dimly lit, soft murmur filled beer garden with brew tanks put on display. If you love freshly brewed beer or even if you don't but would like to know why some of your friends love beer then I recommend you to go try some of the beer selection offered here by Susegado. One of my favourites was the English Ale. The grub here is appealing and the servers are well informed, polite and efficient. Among the different dishes I tried that evening some of my favourites were the Bacon pizza, Chicken chilli coriander pizza, Chicken wings, and the bacon-wrapped prawn. Don't miss out on the warm date and walnut cake served with two scoops of vanilla ice-cream - Day made! :) If you love beer don't think twice before heading here :)

Oh yes u heard it right this guys make their own brewed beer called susegado offering 7 different flavors and taste. . Apart from beer they serve you best food items which is combination of goan and bar food. Limited menu items to choose from which makes easy for anyone to pick right dish. . . Live music , Great ambience, friendly staff and their beer makes this place unique.

The Susegado Goan Craft Beer Company has opened up a brewpub, #bagabeergarden which offers beers for every palate, from Lagers to American IPA and these are available on tap. The flavours we tasted were: - Dortmund Lager - Tropical Wheat - English Ale - American IPA - Vanilla Porter - Gunpowder Ale Among the dishes we tried were: - Empanadas (Spinach Feta, Chorizo) - Bendakaya Fry - Chicken 64 - Bacon Wrapped Prawns - Fried Chicken Wings Platter (spicy Kashmiri chilli, Gochujang bbq, orange whiskey glaze) - Pork Sausage Platter - Butter Garlic Red Snapper - Eggs Benedict on Waffles (bacon & chorizo hollandaise sauce) - Pizzas (Glazed Bacon, Sharp cheddar & Provolone, Coriander Chilli Chicken) - Dessert (Choco Bondas, Date & Walnut cake served with toffee sauce & vanilla ice cream) We really loved the ambience. It has a chill vibe to it. The best part of the whole experience is the fact that you can actually see the containers that store the liquid gold (beer, in this case). What really struck a chord in us was the bar- the beers available on tap, making the experience a whole lot better! In terms of food, we loved the chorizo empanadas, the glazed bacon pizza and the bacon-wrapped prawns. The desserts unfortunately didn't have a wow factor to them. Overall, we had a fabulous beer expedition!
