This is one of the 51 'Shaktipith' of Mata. Since last one year Trolly Ropeway made darshan easy for devotees of Mata Rani. Ropeway ticket is Rs.205 per person.

So let's start 1. The place is absolutely mesmerizing the serene beauty is spread all across where your eyes can reach. 2. Please plan on the off season or else there will be a huge rush. 3. Just opposite the devi temple we have a shiv linga, for the spiritual seekers if possible sit near to shivling with eyes closed and experience that which cannot be expressed in words. 4. Enjoy

A must visit if you are going to Dhanaulti. There is a lot of crowd and traffic jam is expected. Try to go early in the day as the rope way works only upto 4:30 PM. It is a nice track of about 1.5 KMs if you are young and healthy but the ascend is quite steep and difficult. A good view of Himalayas from the temple.

It took us about 3 hours from Rishikesh to reach the base of the temple. We stopped a couple of times to capture the beautiful views of the hills and ofcourse of the majestic Himalayas. The temple has easy access by cable car but to reach the cable car station is a climb of about 40 steps, which are uneven. Can be a challenge for aged people or people with knee issues. But the cable car ride is beautiful. The Devi temple is beautifully constructed and the views from the top are amazing. I just couldn't stop admiring the Himalayas. Do take warm clothing and wear socks, because when you remove the footwear to enter the temple, the cold flooring can be difficult to walk on. The return cable car ride can stop around 4in winters, so plan your trip well, preferably before noon time.

Beautiful, quiet and a must visit place on your Mussoorie and Kanatal trip. Temple is located few minutes away from Dhanaulti. Take rope way for a mesmerising view of hills, temple is located on top of hill in between of mist and beautiful nature.

Pure bliss, Sukanada devi temple - serene and peace - we were lucky to witness all the 4 dhams i.e kedarnath, badrinath, gangotri and yamunotri peaks from this temple .
