Akhil is the best Host ever. Checkin was smooth and any request made was answered. They helped in arranging an auto at 3.30am and took complete ownership for it. Dorm beds are neat and good. There is no inhouse cafe so no loud music in ur room. But if like to party then hostels next door have plenty and u can come back sleep peacefully here. Private rooms are also good and well maintained.

We had a great experience with surf & sea! Akhil helped us a lot to plan our activities in Varkala. I would highly recommend them even if you're in a group or solo! :)

Had an amazing experience surfing with Surf N Sea Varkala. The owner Amal and my instructor Charlie were both amazing and gave me a wonderful surfing session in the morning. The host here called akhil is so greedy and money minded. He just wants you book all the activities and rental stuff from him and takes commission on every thing. I suggest book everything on your own and not to take any service from this greedy person. He gave us broken bikes and charged for the worst condition scooter.we even the full tank petrol for the bikes And when we booked the cab for next day on our own he kept on calling us and askin to cancel the guy saying it is not safe he doesn't have proper papers for car and any bad thing can happen. In real he is the same cab driver which he had sent us for sight seeing the other day. He bad mouths on other agents and travel people if you book on your own . Don't get cheated by this guy.

This is my second time visiting varkala and stay at surf n sea this time beats my first visit. People there are nice and answered immediately, tends your needs on time. They are just a phone call away. And surfing is just as thrilling as it can ever be, everyone should definitely try it atleast once when you are there, I'm sure you'll be coming for more. Though there are many surfing schools there, I prefer surf n sea.

I went for surfing with Surf N Sea on a friend's recommendation and the experience was incredible. The surfing instructor Charlie was really really good. This was my first time surfing and yet managed to ride almost all the waves that I tried because of his clear instructions. Would definitely visit again for a longer surfing course.

Had a super fun session with Charlie and Johnson. Getting on the board and hitting the waves was just pure bliss. Instructors were great. Edit: changed to 1 star just because of management. Paid for the surf lessons and photos. Post lesson they asked for a review and only then photos will be shared which wasn't informed earlier. Even after posting a google review, still no photos. This just gives a bad experience
