Super OYO Hotel City Residency - Guest house in Roorkee - Haridwar, India

The hotel is approachable from the main city. The host is pleasant, plus proper cctv surveillance of your parked vehicles is available. But the hotel is too close to the railway station, so you will be disturbed all night. The balconies were pretty dirty and the washroom sink had stains and hair. The washroom was pretty unhygenic. Apart from this overall it was a decent place if the price is taken into perspective.

They denied me entry and asked 700 Rupees extra cash if I wanted to stay. I had to pay 500 rupees extra. The rooms were too dirty. Bedsheet was stained and unwashed. Blankets had female hair on it. Very bad smell in the room. Zero ventilation, suffocating. Ac didn't work. No wifi, TV not working. This was by far the worst experience ever i had with OYO. Would never recommend using oyo to anyone.

The only good thing about this hotel was the cost, which was a little lower when I booked it Rest all the things are disgusting. There is no kitchen, so you cannot expect food from them. You can see the pathetic condition of walls in the images. The toilet seat is broken as shown. Likewise, I experienced running tap problems in the wash basin due to tight tap. Moreover, there were no towels, no bedsheets were changed in the 5 days of my stay. Also, the TV shown in the image doesn't work, as there is no set top box and no remote. And lastly, the cupboard doesn't open, as they don't know where the keys are.There are various points which I disliked. All of them are mentioned above. The thing which I disliked the most was the bathroom condition. The toilet seat was broken, the tap was always running in the basin and the bucket and the mug was not clean. So I strongly do not recommend this hotel to the people travelling to Roorkee.

Hotel is located in good location about 350 m from railway station about 2.5 km from bus station. But rooms are not clean, in fact it seems that they are not cleaning the staicases and corridors. Inside the room there was an almirah full of dust. Bedsheet was too dirty although they changed it when insisted. TV was switched OFF, although the person at reception told that all the TVs in hotel are out of order due to some defect and TVs are in warranty, but it seems he was lying as I am having basic knoledge of electronics, switched on the TV but the set-top box was not recharged and they had removed the remotes too so that ignorent people could believe in their false story. And finally they blammed OYO for everything and told that OYO does not pay their share of money.

Hello! This is going to be a long review so please be patient and read it all.I (we) recently stayed in this city residency for 3 days and 4 nights and the whole experience is not even worth a single star. Reasons are listen below:1. Power fluctuations. The fan goes to speed 4 and then to 1 all on its own cause, FLUCTUATIONS.2. AC never goes above 17 degrees. Cause thanks to the remote, it never worked. So it's either die in the summer heat or cry in the AC cold 3. THERE'S NO DUSTBIN. Not even in the bathroom 4. No room service. They won't clean the rooms nor help us with water. We gotta do it all by ourselves.5. Speaking about cleanliness..the sheets were dirty. Even the pillows we received were a bit torn.6. They gave us an almirah that NEVER opens. So we literally had all our stuff lying on the bed or on our cases cause there's not even a side/coffee table.7. We got a TV that won't work cause, no connection.8. A few switches for the room are on the outside. I have to go out of the room to switch off a light that's inside the room.

there are 2 buildings. we were given room in next building not what mentioned in maps. there was nothing matching with what price we paid. room was not clean| bathroom was not clean| no dustbin| no toilet roll| no complementary water bottle was provided. we were asked to pay Rs20 for the only water bottle we asked for at checkout. only thing which was good was breakfast (homemade aloo parantha dahi).

The hotel manager denied checkin as the payment according to him is low , he doesn't let anyone checkin untill his condition of payment is fulfilled, the money I paid showed in Oyo app regardless of that he insisted me to make extra payment of 600/- which is why I contacted Oyo customer care. Thankfully they resolved my issue. Otherwise location of hotel is okay and the rooms are okay as well , electricity cut off can be expected for atleast 6-7 hrs a day.

The rooms are decent. Be careful about the services mentioned by the hotel. They don't provide complimentary meals mentioned. Even parking is also not available. You have to pay extra for parking.
