Summit Ttakshang Residency Hotel & Spa - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

We planned our 10th Wedding Anniversary at this hotel during our Vacation in Gangtok. The Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. All the basic amenities were well maintained with the staff being very polite and helpful to provide missing necessties quickly like a room heater and toiletries. The Candle light dinner arrangements stole the show for us with a beautifully decorated table in a private space. All the dishes were well presented while being very delecious. We also enjoyed the wine. The staff was very patient and professional. They not only helped us take care of little daughter but kept her occupied through Dinner. Kudos to Videshiya, Diki and the rest of the restaurant staff to make this this memorable. Overall the hotel has great ambience, exemplary staff and amazing Rooms for a family vacation. Summit Hotels has stayed loyal and Customer centric at Ttakshang.

It was a wonderful stay at summit ttakshang.I had a really good time over there, food was really good and the service was really appreciating .I really thankful ko miss Dawa lamu, for her friendly behavior. She took care of my family. Once again I'm thankful to each and every staff and specially miss dawa lahmu.

This is one of the best low cost hotels I have stayed in! It was a business trip, reached here at 8 PM which is like LATE at Sikkim, the smiling staff informed that the Buffet Dinner is on till 10 PM. This is rare, check-in was a jiffy and a wonderful view room was allotted. The Dinner was excellent (totally unexpected) and so was next days breakfast. The wifi was good and to top it all the Hotel has a an excellent Manager Mr.Sourav, he is a humble, smiling helpful human. Will always remember his behavior and attitude, he is an asset for any organization for sure!

The only good thing about tgis hotel is the location, it is near the MG marg. Thats all. Staffs are highly unprofessional, worst food, dirty rooms. They never care you once they got their money. They dont provide even basic stuffs like water, towels and other room service items. We faced lot of challenges as we stayed in this property with infant and senior citizens. They spoiled our holidays. We struggled and literally begged them for basic needs but they did not care. Staffs talking in local language and making fun out of us. They broke my luggage at the time of check out and they did not say sorry also when I complained the front desk. Such a pathetic hotel we never saw in our life. Please avoid this property if possible. I booked this hotel through agoda as it was marked 4* in Agoda. It is actually a scam. Even Agoda also did not compensate our losses and harrasment. I decided i will let everyone know about this hotel so that others can stay away from this cheating hotel.

Worst service..our room no. 701 Checked in 18-11-23..checked out 19-11-23. No bell boy for luggage..no parking space.there is a 45 degree slope..and we had to carry luggage on our own...staff behaviour very rude..I suggest u avoid this property.no room heater in premium room.. negative review

One of the best resort I have ever stayed in Gangtok ....the rooms are very spacious, well furnished with all essential commodities.... bathrooms are also huge , clean n all d facilities provided, keeping in concern of the guests. The location is awesome with d beautiful mountain view from d room , the dining area is also beautiful with d mini bar and a live music everyday at dinner.The terrace is gorgeous though small ,u can njoy small party arrangements there n can hv d view of the entire city n d foggy mountain..the staff's behaviour are very friendly n helpful too ...i would definitely loved to stay there whenever I visit Gangtok again

We stayed at this hotel last March. We stayed for two days. We really like this hotel. The entrance of the hotel is very beautiful. There is parking space. The room we stayed in was good enough. spacious room, the bathroom is clean. Their dining space is also quite big. And foods are good enough. Breakfast has enough variety. We did breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious. A major feature of this hotel is the road leading to mg marg from this hotel. Although the way to mg marg is a bit far from the main gate of the hotel, there is a staircase at the back of the hotel which will lead to the front of the mg marg. It is a special advantage of staying in this hotel. Overall our experience of staying in this hotel for two days is very good.

One of my favourite places to stay in Gangtok. Gets a little expensive during peak season but there are good deals available online. The rooms are superbly maintained and the house keeping staff are very prompt with any complaints or requests. What deserves special mention here is the food. Since I have worked as a chef trust me when I say that they make one of the best Chinese and Tibetan dishes I have ever tasted. The Indian food here is excellent too. You can visit this place for lunch or dinner too even if you don't stay here. They have parking place for cars and bikes which is rare in Gangtok. It's very close to MG Marg. There is a stair shortcut just few steps from the hotel which takes you straight down to MG Marg but the climb is steep which might be a problem for older people. Nonetheless the usual route to MG Market is also not too long. Overall I would highly recommended this hotel if you want a luxurious stay in Gangtok.
