Dreadful experience! Despite shelling out a substantial amount, our stay at the hotel turned into a health nightmare. Both my husband and I, accompanied by our 11-year-old and 2-year-old sons, suffered from FOOD POISONING after a questionable lunch at the restaurant. Despite the hefty prices, the food quality was far from acceptable. Even a glass of milk for my 2-year-old had noticeable dust particles. When I raised concerns, the response was dismissive. The only redeeming aspect was the hotel's view and its approach to the Ganges. However, even on the way to the Ganges, the presence of numerous monkeys became a cause for concern. One of them even approached my son, adding to our worries about safety. We paid a whopping 17,000/- for the room plus lunch charges, which amounted to around 20,000/- for just one night only to end up falling ill.. When I approached the manager in the morning to complain about the stale and unhygienic food, he didn't pay attention to my words and was busy attending calls..This place is not recommended; the cost is not justified when it comes with HEALTH RISKS because of UNHYGIENIC food ,safety concerns, and indifferent management.
Stopped there for lunch on the way to Ukhimath . Wonderful ambience and even more wonderful staff. My daughter had a cough, so I asked the waiter to get her a glass of hot water, but without even having to ask for it , he came back with a glass of hot water and some honey, which was indeed a very kind and thoughtful gesture on his part. The food is super yummy. I would recommend the mutton there , really tasty. I loved the overall experience and the place, will definitely stay over there next time.
Good view along the beautiful Ganges. Located about 20 minutes drive from main city. Staff is courteous. Rooms are Ok. Food is Ok. The Kitchen doesn't take orders after 10 30 pm so we had a difficult time in celebrating our parent's anniversary in the resort, though we had travelled 400 kms just to celebrate the occasion.
It was a perfect holiday for us. We took the suite and view was amazing. Private beach was lovely and watching the rafters pass by all day was a treat. Food was amazingly good, menu was vast and all delicacies were made with perfection be it chinese , continental or India. Thanks to the chef. We stayed there for 3 days and loved every bit of it. I would recommend spa for the visitors, the experience was a bliss. We would surely visit again. The location was just entering Shivpuri and away from the hustle of main city.
I have visited twice with Indian and international guests and the attitude was different so I can tell the good and bad things well. Good things: Rooms are good as found in any standard hotel although rates are high. Breakfast is good and includes kid friendly items. Beach view is great but it can be approached by other side entries as well. Restaurant is good for sitting outside and inside. Spa is available. Bad things that really need improvement: Pool is filled but has broken tiles inside which injured 1 kid and 2 adult guests while I was there. No one was available near the pool and change room is not available. Breakfast or tea was not available between 11PM and 8AM. So if you want to check out early then sorry no breakfast for you. Parking is very limited and at owners risk almost on the road. Reaching the hotel is very difficult as you have to go through the whole rishikesh traffic. Service provided by hotel is very basic and not professional. Price is very high as compared to what you get so go ahead as per your convenience.
Location is good.....Food was very tasty like home..... But the Room accessories wasn't perfect we need to ask for every single thing.....otherwise you will enjoyed fully
Excellent location. Right on the main road, but also right in the lap of nature. With hills all around and the Ganges meandering, the views offered from every angle is breathtaking. Glass-walls in every room enable views right from your bed. Sit in the balcony and nature's majesty is right there to behold. Few steps down the stairs to get to the private sand beach - chill out, take dips in the river, many adventure sports options, evening aarti - it was all so relaxing. Awesome spa, tasty food across myriad of cuisines, prompt room service - and top class cleanliness. Helpful staff. All in all, perfect location for your vacation.
"Naam Bade Darshan Chote" This is the most suitable Idiom for this hotel and the list is endless. Please do not go for this property. The hotel charges a hefty amount for a mediocre room and food. The only good thing about the hotel is the beach. Rest the swimming pool is not clean. People come from the beach and dive into the pool. No supervision. The morning buffet has limited options with no taste. The Cheela which they served was stale. Not a welcoming staff at all. I was travelling with my 2 year old son and the cost of a glass of milk is unreasonable 180 INR. and that too had lots of dirt particles in it and I had to complain about it. And yes the mineral water bottle is not available in the room. They provide RO water.
