Rishikesh Hotels | The Grand Tapovan - Hotel in Rishikesh, Dhunar Gaon - Tehri Garhwal, India

It was an amazing stay. Accidentally I hv booked this place but i had no idea it will trun into a memory. The mesmerizing view of mountains the peace, the fresh breeze, the goozing sound of breeze etc Also the staff there is so humble and polite would like to mention one of the name Mr. Gautam Semwal was just amazing, the way he deals with clients shows how good in hospitality. Beautiful ambience. Will definitely recommend and come back, may in future our path crossess .

Experienced Feedback! I stayed there for 1 day night and it was very bad experience. I was with my family. 1. Bathroom floor was not balanced. Water was staying in washroom. 2. Bathroom taps was loose. 3. No doormats in room and bathroom. 4. Wardrobe was not clean. Too much hairs and dust. 5. No hook inside wardrobe. 6. Room was locked since long time so too much dust and seems it was not cleaned. 7. Service boy did not switch on the electricity of the room. I have to call 2 times the. They on it. 8. Poor welcome service. 9. Tata sky was not recharged. We have to ask them to recharge. 10. Overall, it is overpriced. With including breakfast, it was 7000/- per night with single king size bed. 11. No cookies with tea 12. No salad/onion with lunch 13. No lunch/dinner buffet. Only breakfast in buffet. 14. Food are over priced as per quality and variety. 15. Room with Mountain View side is not a good view. Just view of other hotels and then very close mountain. 16. No swimming pool. 17. No game zone for kids. 18. Poor service - asked for drinking water. I have to wait half hour, but no water then called again. 19. No electricity backup if power goes. They use only inverter for bathroom light and room fan. On inverter light in room. And at some time, inverter got shut down. 20. Very frequently and long power cut. You can not use AC, cattle with electricity. 21. They said, Restaurant opens in morning at 8 am. But it starts at 9 am. Very few selected items in breakfast buffet.

There is not even a single loose point that i can mention. The place is so secenaric and amazing, the view of the mountains is just stupendo. Rooms are so cozy and nice. Outdoor sitting is mesmerizing. Would like to mention name of Mr. Gautam who always carries smile on his face so gentle and polite rest of the team i dont know the name but they all are great. Feedback I want to share my great experience with hotel grand tapovan I visited property few days back I was amazing experience. *Location was beautiful *Service was fantastic *Staff was nice and humble *Room were clean and well maintained * food was tasty If guys are in Rishikesh and looking for stay highly recommended.

Great rooms, food and cafeteria! Loved the ambience and amenities like snooker. Nice and Affordable accomodation

Fact- it's a properly that requires maintenance! The images of the interiors of the room and other amenities like a snooker table, which the hotel has flaunted on google did not match with the quality of the room I stayed in. I paid a hefty amount for a room during the peak holiday season in May, 2023. My room had a very old and bad sofa, barely hiding the peeling-off on the wall behind it. The snooker table couldn't be used as there were no sticks! The location of the hotel is quite far from the centre of Rishikesh, people who want to do rafting in Shivpuri can stay here. The Vashisht cave nearby is an interesting place to explore for spiritual folk. The only saving grace of the hotel is its restaurant and cute (newly built) cafe. Staff is polite. Rafting costs Rs. 500 per person. And the hotel will arrange it for you. A la carte at the restaurant of the hotel is good.However, the buffet options are cliched and miserable, it lacks variety, hygiene (no serving tongs were kept/serving spoons mixed by guests/no one to pay attention) and proper attention and quality service. There is a big lawn at the backside of the hotel and a front lawn of the cafe where you can walk or sit and chill on a swing. There's parking at the hotel but it's slightly congested.

Food and room facilities are ossum.location is near the highest bungy jumping of India .overall best in class services especially gulab Jamuna.

Nice food , and customised as you love , like without onion garlic food. Serve you. I think but only veg . Don't know about non veg.
