One of the best resorts & spa in economical budget within Klaimpomg. We booked family room with Mountain View. Literally it's worth of money. Staffs are really friendly & prompt in services. Location wise it's bit far from main market.

We stayed there for one day... my 2year old daughter loved the place.... Almost all the rooms have mountain views. Close to the main market at Kalimpong. Awesome property. It has a colonial feel. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and contain all the necessary amenities. Lots of open spaces to sit and relax. The restaurant is good, the food is delicious, though a bit costly. It has a kid's playroom, kids park with slip, swing etc. Overall a great place to chill.

Cannot give less than 5 star rating. It was one of the best experiences. From the luxurious room, friendly and helpful staff to the dinning experience, everything was perfect. The property is big and well maintained.

Keeping in mind the reviews we had seen on the web and the pictures, we expected the place to be nice and it indeed was nice, the lawn had a beautiful breeze overlooking the hills, rooms were neat and clean and had a nice view. The staff were very friendly and the dinner was excellent but the breakfast wasn't very good and some were kept outside and felt unhygienic. Now the major inconvenience that we faced was, the temperature at the time we went was very hot so naturally we were expecting some cool air inside the rooms from the ceiling fans but they were not helping much, we asked them to provide some standing fans but they had no more than 2 fans!!! We were out in the lawn getting the cool breeze and did not want to return to the room due to the heat. The major issue for Summit Barsana was they were not well-equipped to battle the heat but otherwise the experience was pleasing.

What a lovely stay with 5 families...this was a memorable stay and was a discovery for us in terms of location , comfort , view , customer service and ambience. In my view it's one of the best maintained properties in the district . The GM Mr N Choudhary is a hands on person and I have seen him constantly ensuring guest comfort. I have also never seen such a dedicated team in a resort who work tirelessly and with a spontaneous smile on their face. Even when the buffet had almost ended I saw them filling it so that guests do not miss anything. Hospitality at its best and is world class. I would definitely come back here in a group of families and friends. Perfectly maintained property. All of us were overwhelmed by the warmth and dedication of the staff members and Nigel.

If you really want to let your hair down and have a great time in the lap of nature, this is the place to be at. A Property with old world charm but equipped with most of the modern amenities and facilities. Polite and friendly staff, fine food, hassle free check-in and check-out, peaceful atmosphere and a great view of the mountains and Kalimpong town.

Summit Barsana is the one of the best properties to stay in if you are visting Kalimpong and the nearby areas. The resort is very well kept with a beautiful garden and you get a lovely mountain view from the sit out area. The staff is courteous and very helpful. The meals served in their in house restaurant,Verandah, are very comforting. I have tasted one of the best Chicken Thupkas of my life here . But what stood out for me about Summit Barsana was their eco-friendly contribution towards a greener planet. Be it the bamboo slippers or the recycled vintage furniture or even their collboration with a eco friendly brand like IGNIS, this resort is doing their bit to save the planet. Thank you team Summit Barsana. I loved my stay and I shall be returning back for more.

Rooms were better than the tarrifs but their main income comes from the restaurant. Very expensive, plus they don't provide basic commodities for eating if we don't order from their restro. This policy is really disgusting. How can you not provide these? Whoever is your owner, you must look into it.
