I love the place a lot. I have been there for two years. Very positive place. Everything is so perfect and beautiful. You feel fresh whenever you visit the place. There is a toy train in which you can visit a shot your to shimla. You can enjoy the sunset because thats the best part of shimla and from summer hill it's just beautiful.The weather is so pleasant.
The railway station for the Himachal Pradesh University. All trains stop here for a couple of minutes. Very very close to the end of the line, the next station being the terminus Shimla. A very pretty station as are all the stations on this route. Also very well-maintained and neat and clean.

Summer Hill is a distant suburb of Shimla, the state capital of Himachal Pradesh at a height of 2,123 meters. It is on a hill, 5 km west to the Shimla Ridge, and is part of the seven-hill cluster. Besides being a popular tourist destination, the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (established 1965), housed in the former Viceregal Lodge, which was built in 1884-88, is on the nearby Observatory Hill. Today, it hosts the Himachal Pradesh University, which mainly offers post graduate programmes in Humanities, Commerce, Science, Management, Law and Languages, and was started in 1975. Most students walk to the Hill Station of Shimla from the campus, though Summer Hill lies on the Kalka-Shimla Railway line.

It's a small and beautiful toy train station near Summer hill AG Colony. Shimla train station is just next to it. Not all train stops here but few train pass each other everyday. The station can easily be reached by car or bus running through this route.
