Suma Aavaas Farm-stay - Farmstay in Darjeeling, Lebong and Mineral Spring Tea Garden - Darjeeling, India

The rooms are very clean and tidy. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet. You get great views of the mountains from here, especially sunrise. You can easily spend the whole evening seeing the mountains and having some snacks. The owner was very helpful. They provide very delicious food as well, probably the best meal I ever had in the mountains. Definitely consider staying at this place if you're looking for a weekend gateway or spending some time between nature.

Very offbeat and scenic place. The surise from here was simply beautiful. The host, Sangam was a delight to talk to and the food was delicious.

Great nature spot, pleasant host and healthy food. Overall fantastic experience during our 3 day stay. Host, Sangam and crew go extra mile to make your stay comfortable by accommodating your needs. Though place is like 1-2 km away from main street, it's worth it due to the serene nature.

All good , no problem , staff behaviour also good , but The road has deteriorated a bit, it would be great if it could be fixed.

Great location, surrounded with serene nature. Enjoyed viewing Sun rise from across the valley. On top of it the friendly staff at the farm stay was awesome. The Owner Mr. Sangam was too good of a gentleman with friendly and helpful nature. Truly worth spending time in the lap of nature. Definitely recommend for nature loving individuals and families . With cozy environment and reasonably priced neat and clean cottages, furnished with all amenities. Overall a great experience.

The perfect place if you want to be near the city but far away of the noise and in to nature. Super clean and cosy cottage with sun Our experience here was really amazing, in the mornings we woke up to see beautiful sunrise. We had included breakfast, snacks, teas and dinner, every time was a surprise the different local dishes they brought The stuff was super kind and respectful. In the afternoons we had fire to enjoy warm tea time, and we had beautiful silence nights Highly recommend!

You know it is going to be a wonderful vacation when you reach Darjeeling and you check-in at Suma Aavas Farmstay. The approach road to this lil peace of heaven is the steepest slope of a road that I have ever seen in my life. To top that, it's the most pot-holed narrow road. You definitely need to be an expert driver for this. But, enter the gate, get out of the car and you'll see why the saying, "Good things happen to those who work hard to get there." We were greeted by the owner, Sangam, and he immediately made us at home. What a fantastic host! The wooden cottages were clean, and classy. The bathrooms smelled fantastic and we had running hot water at our service whenever we needed it. What took the cake was the view that this property has to offer. Speaking of cake, food. The food here was finger licking good too. It is not a fancy menu. You will binge on a simple meal of Roti, sabzi, dal and rice; yummylicious to the core. Shiten and Neha, the people behind the lovely food are locals who work with Sangam and they are as polite and hospitable as one can be. Do notice the softness of the chapati's that they serve. All in all, I'd 100% recommend this place. It is a farmstay style living so do not expect Pizzas on the menu. But come here for the peace and calm and get that in abundance.
