My recent visit here was pretty super. With notable interiors, an enjoyable ambiance and a delectable menu they've had a fair attempt at revamping fine dine-in. Another great platform like the Sultan Bazar given by them to exhibitors to showcase their artistry which was a brand new experience for me. It was great interacting with entrepreneurs selling beautiful hand painted apparel and paintings. Highlights from their menu would be- Turkish spicy minced lamb pizza Sushi Veg Manchurian And special mention to their vibrant looking mocktails & cocktails. Cost for 2- Rupees 1500 approx. (alcohol excluded) . Keep supporting @iconnectwithfood on IG.

So let's start with the interiors and then come to food. As soon as you enter sultan, you'd get royal feels. The interiors are done beautifully which is religiously done to give the customers a royal experience. The seating is open to the sky as well. The staff is courteous and engaging. Coming to the food. I tried the SOYA GALOUTI, SHEFA, BEETROOT HUMMUS WITH PITA BREAD, CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE, SHAHI TUKDA IN A JAR, PINEAPPLE AND BASIL MOCKTAIL, FIZZY WATERMELON AND GINGER MOCKTAIL. The food was top notch. The galouti kebabs were flavourful and yummy which would definitely call me back here. The galouti was served in an authentic way with vargi parantha as its base so that the softness remains intact. Lemme tell you these paranthas take too long to be prepared but are super yummy. The Shefa was one dish that I was trying for the first time. It was a dish made with a pizza dough kinda thing and soya nutri over it. The hummus was very well done. The beetroot flavour had a great after taste. Don't ask me about the above desserts that I tried, just order them and let me know. Both the drinks I had were so refreshing that I ain't be able to explain. The watermelon mocktail was made with fresh watermelons(can you believe it?) in the era of using syrups. Oh well, I loved the hospitality as well!! My friend tried the CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA and loved it. So go for this place right away.
I would have given a 5 star but for a small incident in the begining with the wait staff. Things were much better post we complained to the manager and the other waiter was extremely courteous. We tried their platter, soups, paneer and mutton in main course. The food was finger licking good and the ambience is well done. The live singing in the background was nice too.
Sultan is amazing. They have refreshing menu of varied cuisine. The food tastes authentic and the ambience is comforting.Nice place to chill around. The ambience of this place is quite different and attractive. We had a reunion with my old pals and we had a great time. The staff was courteous. Regarding food, we tried various dishes like chicken, lotus stem, crispy chilli potato - these had almost the same masala/taste which was tangy and no doubt good. But we felt like repetitive taste. Corns and chicken basil cup were a little different in taste though. The food is just wow. Authenticity at its best. Kadhi paneer had the perfect mix of spices. Chicken biryani too was delicious. Tender chicken pieces. The ambiance gives you the Royal feel. Service is cordial.
Well what does it signify about a restaurant which in all its Glory opened up a few years ago only to be relegated behind a new pan Asian cuisine restaurant named Wasabi! In first glance it might not ring a bell but once seated you do get a little confused seeing the ambience of the restaurant not exactly in tune with the concept. I did for a second thought I had actually entered in a wrong restaurant especially when the waiter handed me the wasabi menu! Then I asked that I intended to dine in the mughlai restaurant Sultan and not Wasabi to which he politely directioned me to March down the hall through a single door into the deep in the back moved restaurant Sultan. The place was deserted when we reached around 8:15 pm which isn't an oddball chance since city people usually throng a restaurant for dinner only around 9 or so. We plonked comfortably in a corner seat with melodious songs being belted by a local singer. I ordered veg kibbeh, meat sheefa with mocktails named tropic runner (which by their own saying) is their top notch one, a pineapple basil love and Merry com cooler. The drinks were all good though the Merry com cooler could be a little less tangy! The veg kibbeh in first taste seems dry however doesn't taste bad. The meat sheefa tasted a bit sugary which is actually a minced meat pie. In main course I ordered dum aloo banarsi, Irani murgh Salam with garlic naan and green salad. Dum aloo almost tasted like a kofta but the murgh Irani Wich according to the waiter is their best seller didn't do justice to the palate. I actually felt it was too high on pepper with no distinctive taste! And the chicken in it didn't seem too fresh. My husband ended up eating most of it only to be nauseous the morning after!! Well overall the food isn't to die for or even to come for a second time especially going by my husband's experience. Besides there is no novelty or enthusiasm to keep a competitive edge especially when every second restaurant in tricity boasts to be an expert in Mughlai cuisine!! Disappointed much.
The food was reasonably good. The restaurant needs some maintenance for sure. If I compare with restaurants like Swagath then Sultan needs much improvement. Overall we had a good time.
The food is just wow. Authenticity at its best. Kadhi paneer had the perfect mix of spices. Chicken biryani too was delicious. Tender chicken pieces. The ambiance gives you the Royal feel. Service is cordial.

Fitness and Skills, both are being worked upon here. First 10 Minutes of training here is equivalent to two hours of work-out in a gym, and then you have to go on for 50 minutes more. Energises you for next two days. Amazing experience.
