Completed the 300 hour TTC in 2015. Great experience overall. Good balance of asana, philosophy, and anatomy. However, there was very minimal feedback - to none at all - for the class that us trainees taught at the end of our certification. I would have liked for that (very important) aspect of the course to be more organized; with more feedback on ways to improve upon my teaching abilities - though I do feel within me that I have improved. Nice accommodations of private room and bath. Food at meals was sub-par and lacked nutritional quality at times.

Two words: loved it! I had taken a few teacher trainings in Los Angeles, which were great, but had left me with a deep desire to experience the path of yoga in the land from which the science originated. I was looking for an authentic experience that would deepen my asana practice and expand my understanding of the path of yoga, not only intellectually + practically, but more importantly experientially. Rishikesh Yog Peeth provided that experience. I completed the 500-hour teacher training at RYP last December, 2013. For 3 months I was immersed in an environment that solely focused on awakening and developing the multi- faceted aspects of living a yogic lifestyle. The course is designed in such a way that it appeals to a wide audience, ranging from those who simply which to deepen their own practice to those that are inspired to be of service in the world and study, share + teach the science of yoga to others. The curriculum was comprehensive, the teachers were diverse + knowledgeable, the support staff were friendly + helpful, food was fantastic, accommodation was simple, comfortable and welcoming. The location of the school is fantastic with it being a 5-minute stroll from many places of interest ranging from temples, to shops to restaurants. The highlight being Ma Ganga and the sadus that live along her banks. To have the opportunity to study and live in Rishikesh is truly a priceless gift, I more than highly recommend it.

Rishikesh Yog Peeth was one of the most amazing 6 weeks of yoga I have ever experienced. The teachers are great, honest, and sincere. The living arrangements were better than I had expected and were quite comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and simple. I loved the schedule of the day, packed with learning yet open enough to be able to explore and have a really fun time. The area is simply beautiful; panoramic mountains everywhere you turn, lush and green. Having the Ganga so close was also a really peaceful feeling. The people in the village and surrounding were always very kind and welcoming, regardless of whether you spoke the same language. The yoga classes were always packed with juicy knowledge and practical things that you would need to know to run a yoga class. Overall, this entire experience was above and beyond any of my expectations for it. I would go back any second of the day.

This yoga teacher training program has given me some of the richest experiences of my 20 year long life. The program opened my eyes in a way that showed me how to live as a peaceful being while in Rishikesh, and taught me that I have everything I need inside myself in order to bring this peace back home with me. I've made incredible life long friends along the way from all over the world, and I would repeat the experience again in a heartbeat. The choice to go to Rishikesh was easy, seeing as it's the capital of where yoga began in the world; the choice to go to Yog Peeth was even easier, after reading some reviews and looking at pictures, I knew this was where I needed to be. I'm overjoyed with my decision to have attended, I feel blessed that I got to experience the things I did with the people I met there. I absolutely recommend Rishikesh Yog Peeth to anyone and everyone that is interested. Go into it with an open heart and an open mind, and there is no limit to the things you will learn and be able to take back to your daily life with you.

My interest in becoming a yoga teacher started in September 2011 so did my research about where to do it. I studied the option of doing it in Canada -where I was living at the moment- or in India. Someone recommended to look for courses in Rishikesh who was the Spiritual Capital of Yoga. I followed the recommendation and focused my research in Rishikesh. I found a bunch of schools including Rishikesh Yog Peeth. When I first contacted the school, I liked very much that their response was fast and full of information. I had the chance to follow their website for a couple of months before making my decision. They were always helpful with all the questions I had. I finally singed up to do my training in June-July 2012. I booked the transportation service from the airport to Rishikesh with them. They sent me all the instructions about how to identify the driver and everything went out smoothly. He was very nice. When I got to the hotel I was very satisfied with the installations. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing. All of them were very kind and respectful. About Roshan and Sanjay, I can say I could not have had better teachers. They are two wonderful human beings who are not afraid to show their true self in order to help the students find themselves. They both have a loving non judgemental attitude. They share their thoughts and perspective in a very respectful way, they show you their opinion and give you the opportunity to share yours. I just love them and miss their guidance and presence very much. The structure of the course was excellent. In regards of the the yoga practice -asanas- I loved that it started slow and the intensity increased with the days... I had time to get used to the environment and to do 3 hours of practice daily. Through the whole experience of exercise, philosophy, healthy eating and a positive and loving atmosphere my body and my soul went through an amazing transformation. In the risk of sound cheese, it was an experience that transformed my life. I was able to rediscover many things about myself, I had the opportunity to transform beliefs that were not serving me anymore, I was able to experience true forgiveness and I learned how to truly open my heart and work from there. I loved my experience and I hope I can go back on day. I truly and fully recommend Rishikesh Yog Peeth to anyone who is looking to deepen their knowledge about yoga, about themselves and about life. I had such an amazing time at RYP. I attended the TTC in April 2011 and am still sending people I meet who are interested in yoga in the direction of Rishikesh. The staff was always kind and helpful and I made some incredible friends along the way. This was my first time in India and was a great bridge (literally!) between Western society and India. I cannot wait to go back and do my 500 hours training! I'm happy to answer specific questions anyone might have. I know the school has change quite a bit in the year and a half since I was there, but there are a lot of things that will never change in Rishikesh, and I think that's what I love about it so much. I attended 200 hour TTC Feb- March-2013 I fall in love with this simply magical beautiful town called Rishikesh. The six weeks that I spend at Rishikesh Yog Peeth changed my perception towards life. Something I am going to cherish throughout my life. There was so much positive energy around. Teachers, students, and staff every single one of them inspired me to live life to fullest. I am so grateful to have them in my life forever now. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who want to make it a profession and at the same time wants to get unite with the self. Namaste!

I love Rishikesh Yog Peeth! I definitely recommend this school to anyone seeking to do yoga teacher training or develop themselves through yoga. I completed the 200-hour YTT in March 2015. This experience couldn't have been more perfect to meet my intentions: to better understand yoga and to better understand myself. Lecture and practical classes challenged me mentally, physically and emotionally - which I loved. Instructors and staff created a supportive environment in which tremendous learning could take place. My classmates were (and still are) beautiful people. Lastly, the energy in Rishikesh is supercharged with spirituality.
