We went there early in the moring during my one day trip to Mysuru from Bengaluru. Located right in the city center, this old church is a peaceful sanctuary. Its stunning architecture and calm atmosphere create a unique, spiritual experience. Whether you're looking for some quiet reflection or simply appreciating the beautiful design, this church is a lovely escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
Again, no place of worship can be determined by the stars it receives because a religious place is about how one feels - spiritual or peaceful in such a place. St. Philomena's cathedral is one such place which I visit whenever I'm in Mysore. This church brings a sense of calm and peace.
The church has a sufficient amount of parking available inside the premises. Mass is carried out in three languages - Kannada, Tamil and English - timings of mass and weekly prayers have been shared in pics.
