very good place for playing outdoor games specially Cricket, but the ground has so many dust. Here also has so many Cricket clubs and Cricket Coaches who trains the boys well. Here also comes the students of Chandernagore College for playing Cricket.Beside the ground there has a Church, a school named St. Antony.
Very nice place surrounded by Churche, schools, sports clubs, Corporation etc. I think this the heart of Chandernagore. Very adjacent to Chan'gore stand & Rabindra bahawan also. Also there have some tea shop, restaurant, ice cream parlor, tatoo parlor etc nearest on.
Basicaly It's a playground for practicing cricket and all . Many state Govt. organised programmes like Book fair, Yuba Utsav etc. Take place at this ground. It is at the heart of Chandannagar town .
The periphery of the field is rectangular and there are three clubs adjacent to it for cricket training. This ground hosts both day and night matches and wall climbing facility is also available along with floodlights.
Its a huge playground. But be aware, lot's of amateurs are there playing cricket or football. It can be dangerous for kids.
