St. Euphrasia Tomb Shrine - Pilgrimage place in Thrissur - Thrissur, India

Blessed shrine n Museum of St Euphrasia. One can visit the saints tomb inside the church. Holy place to pray in peace. They have a small gift shop to buy memoralias of St Euphrasia and other blessed items. Comfortable parking space right next to the church. Drinking water n clean wash rooms were welcoming.

We can pray at the tomb of St Euphrasia Eluvathingal, see the room and surroundings where saint lived and a peaceful place for Adoration at the perpetual adoration chapel near the saint's tomb.

A place where you can pray to God through Saint. Euphrasia . Thrissur, Being my grand parent's native place also , my grandmother Mrs. Celine (passed away in 2021, July 22 ) when she was young she has met St. Euphrasia in person, Therefore, in her remembrance, I wanted to visit the tomb and pray for her soul. My visit to this place was a memorable one

St. Euphrasia Eluvathingal was an Indian Carmelite nun.She was canonised as a saint by Pope Francis on 23 November 2014 in Vatican City.It wss a miracle for the people of kerala. Its a calm place inside the church to relax and pray.convent school of the same is nearby.
