St. Crispin Houseboats - Hotel in Kumarakom - Kottayam, India

We had this mid-sized boat to ourselves (a group of 4). It was nice mostly sunny day so we enjoyed the view from top. The crew were very friendly and navigated the boat at a nice leisurely pace. My wife even took a short nap in one of the bedrooms. The staff was friendly and we spent about 5 pleasurable hours on this boat. It was reasonably priced so overall we had a great experience.

We (21 people) have booked the boat for a day trip. They gave us an unforgettable day. Super food especially 'Karimeen'. Good seating arrangements, well trained crew. We had lot of fun.

The time and money spend on this authentic Kerala house boat back water ride was well worth it. The back water senery was second to none. Definitely in my top 10 list. The service provided is top class. Be it the organic toddy(alcoholic beverage created from the sap of coconut palms) they served, the fresh hot fried fish along with it , lunch , evening snacks is top notch. A world class experience that you cherish for a long time. It is definitely a steal if you compare the quality of experience it provided to you to other options world wide. A days worth of life time experience for us (group of 16) for a mere $15 per person. I been to quite a few countries. Quality wise, cost wise...it is well worth it and it is a steal guys!

We had a great time. Mr. CRISPIN was very friendly and was a great host. We had 2 labradors. The space was great and was very easy to handle our pets. We will definitely be visiting this heritage home again.
