St. Anthony's Botanical Garden is a beautiful garden near in the heart of Shillong. It was inaugrated for public in 2004 and has been a place of attraction for tourists, ever since. The garden was established with a motive to secure the existence of rare and endangered plant species. Beautiful Place to hangout with Your Family, Friends and your loved ones too.
(November 2017) Totally rubbish. We can't say it garden. Actually it is not a garden at all. No any chair to sit, no sufficient space AT ALL to walk. Too much compact.
Only a very small storage of water, very few trees, very few plants n a compact space with no any sitting chair.
One of the best place in St Anthony's College, Shillong.. Many flowers species are found here like orchids, hedychium and many more..This was the place were I used to collect samples for my project work.
