Sripaada Srivallabha temple - Hindu temple in Pithapuram - East Godavari, India

Sripada Srivallabha swami was born and lived in Pithapuram. Must visit temple in pithapuram. Prebookings are available for special poojas. Temple is located at a distance of 3km from the pithapuram railway station. All types of rooms are available nearer the temple.

Very nice temple. Morning 5 to 6 nijapada darsan available. Who are doing datta parayana devotees they will provide room and food. Homam also doing. It is near to rail way station. It is birth place of Sri pads Sri vallaba.

Very well arranged rakshabandhan festival. Need to put few fans on waiting que rows. Can put some professional for managing Prasad distribution and management of darshan.

"Pawan tirtha" Birth place of shripad shrivallabha maharaj, who is the first avatar of shri dattatreya prabhu. Very devine place to visit. If you want to perform any seva you should reach the place 1 day in advance. If you reach by afternoon first contact office counter of mandir for seva you wish to provide coz only limited number of people per day. Accommodation is available free of cost. You can also book accommodation online by sending email to sansthan's email address (email address is available on sansthan's website). Accommodation available is limited hence book in advance. They accept bookings 45 days in advance. Only adhar card, voter ID card , driving license and passport are accepted as I'd proofs for accommodation. Now a days accommodation available nearby temple Ac and non Ac with Maharashtrian food. Few trains stop at pithapuram station. If you are getting down at samalkot then you can go to pithapuram by auto, tata magic, or car.

There is no queue for darshan but still it was very crowded.We had visited on public holiday.During prasadam outside prasad area was very crowded ,suffocating ,non desciplined.Try to go on weekdays.If you go by car, park your car 2 km away from temple on main road and take rickshaw from there.Temple road is very narrow. shriipaad shriivllbh digNbraa
