Sri Tirupati Gangamma Temple - Hindu temple in Kuppam - Chittoor, India

Tirupati Gangamma temple is one of the most famous temples located in Kuppam. It is located very near to the Kuppam bus terminal. One can reach the temple on foot from Kuppam bus stand easily. The speciality of the temple diety is the head of the Godess will be separately placed in a place beside the temple which can be seen from the road itself, but during the time of Jathara which will be held in the month of May the head of the Godesss will be joined to the main diety only at the time of Jathara. In the premises of the temple one can have the darshan of lord Ganesha also. Every tuesday, friday and sunday are special days for Gangamma's pooja.

It's a really nice temple to visit. It is a temple of Gangamaa which has a very historic a story. You can find two more temples in the same Temple which are of Ganesh and one more. You may find there is no male priest for doing Pooja. It has a special store it is near the Kuppam main road which is kind of quite disturbing but temple is large and will give you peace.
