Sri Kailasanathar Temple (Puthan Sthalam) Nava Kailaiyam - 7. This is the seventh of the Nava Kailasam temples located on the banks of the Tambraparani river, and is dedicated to Budhan. Budhan (Mercury) is the planetary deity associated with the mind and intellect. The Idol is a Beautiful small Shivalinga on the Lotus Flower . There are many mind-boggling Sculptures and minute detailed architectures throughout the Temple . During the British rule a Collector was bombarded with a saying that this Temples Tender coconuts were Divine. So he replied "Tender coconuts are same everywhere does this temples coconuts have some Horn or what ?" When they pluck one and opened the coconut actually had a Horn . This coconut is still there in the Temple even now and is kept for Sightseeing . Don't forget to visit the nearby Lord Vishnu temple / Thiru Makara Nedunkulai Kaather Perumal temple which is the Nava Tirupati 7 .

AS ALL THE DEVOTEES ARE COMING TO THE FAMOUS LORD VISHNU TEMPLE. THIS PLACE IS NOT A VERY FAMOUS TEMPLE. AND THE VISITORS ALSO VERY LESS. THE TEMPLE IS IN VERY GOOD LOCATION AND WE CAN PRAY FOR THE CHILDRENS' STUDIES.
