It was really amazing and surprising for me to visit this beautiful place. Thanks to god for connecting me to here. It consist of a temple, pond, ducks and beautiful place overall. When I entered pond been welcomed by the ducks lovely...
Then the temple darshanam with 3 gods in 3 directions. Chaya someshwar temple, Vishnu temple and Suryadev temple. Very peaceful place to have time. It gives blissful spending against city life. Please do visit.
A beautiful Lord Shiva Temple built in 11th century with great chola Architecture near Nalgonda city. Must visit place who stay in hyderabad and Telangana state. Another temple called Pacchala someshwara temple near to this temple.
This place is at a distance of 120-130 Kms from hyderabad and about 15 kms from Nalgonda. The temple is a historical construction following the architectural style of the Kakatiyas and famed for the shadow of a pillar that can be seen falling on the diety (Someswar) anytime of the day. There is a pond infront of the temple with lotuses giving a scenic view.
The temple sits in a quite place in the lap of the nature away from the city traffic and pollution. Wish they had maintained the cleanliness of the pond otherwise it is delightful to watch the ducks (the white ones) and ducklings swim in the water through the lotuses.
Very beautiful 10 th century temple.nice scenic views with pleasant atmosphere
It's a historical monument and temple previously it was only a temple built in CHOLA period by Dynasty of Aureva under Kakatiya rule. This temple holds a speciality that a shadow beam can be seen irrespective of day or night in the main temple of shivalayam. But currently generation people are spoiling the place by conducting photo shoots, making it a picnic spot. I would request authorities to deploy Security guard to safe guard and protect the same.
The temple is surrounded by agricultural fields and water, with a pond in front of it adorned with lotuses, fishes, ducks, and tortoises. The temple's architecture represents that of the Kakatiya dynasty. A mysterious shadow pillar forms behind the Shiva Linga, the origin of which remains unknown. The Shiva Linga within the temple is special and rare, known as the Brahma Sutra Linga. Visiting this temple is a must in a lifetime.
Nice temple it's hundreds of years old temple but still intact the pond near the temple is very beautiful and quite good to visit in evening hours but the temple will be closed after 7 but we can still visit but there won't be any prayers after 7pm good for photoshoot and photography swans are cherry on the top
Great place with a magical touch. Best time will be evening before sunset.
