Square Point Naga Food - Fast food restaurant in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

It is a really wonderful place for the meat lovers the food is really spicy and very tasty.

Most pathetic food I've ever eaten. And the prices can be compared to a five star hotel. These people are fooling the nagas itself.

Excellent Northeastern/Naga soul food. Highly recommend. I'm so glad we decided to try this place out because not only did the food hit spots in my soul I didn't know I had but even the ambience was just perfect for a quick afternoon meal. With only 4 tables (one overlooking Shillong's busy streets), & filled with lots of extra goodies like homemade dry meat pickles, locally written novels and plants you can buy along with your meal; this little joint is so quaint & so uncomplicated. It doesn't boast of anything but simplicity, healthy & homely, tasty meals that are served piping-hot. Ordered the smoked beef thali/combo which came with a bamboo shoot (fermented, I think) soup and some fresh veggies; the crunch on those was impeccable. They serve a spicy chutney with onions which definitely makes you work up a slow sweat so be careful with this one cause it creeps up on you.

The Square Point Naga Food restaurant is located at Don Bosco square in Shillong. You'll find a nice sign board and few more inside the complex which will guide you to the first floor. It is a small place with a few tables and the kitchen there. The food was really spicy and tasty. Authentic Naga food can be tried here. The beef and pork pieces were generously filled in each plate. Recommended!!

It is very casual naga food. Items you wil get here is very traditional according to naga people. Really awesome for them but being other tribe we didn't enjoy that much. Being a Nepali Guy i would stil prefer to Khasi food rather than Naga food . And a bit costliest side here.

Very authentic meals that are different from the rest of the food you get in India. The family here does an amazing job. Probably the best lassi I've had.
