SPOT ON Grand Residency - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

I recently stayed at an Oyo hotel near the railway station, and while the location was not ideal, I found it to be acceptable considering the value for money. The hotel's proximity to the railway station was convenient for me as I had to catch an early train. However, the immediate surroundings of the hotel were not particularly pleasant or picturesque. There was noise from the nearby trains and traffic, which could be a bit bothersome for light sleepers or those seeking a peaceful environment. Despite the less-than-ideal location, I must admit that the hotel offered good value for money. The room rates were reasonable, and the amenities provided were satisfactory for the price paid. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the basic necessities available.

The receptionist is very well mannered. Service was average. But they ask a bit higher that the rate showed in OYO. So, you can assume the cost for a 2 bed guest room for 1 night will cost around 800-1200 rs (depends on how good you are on bargaining and arguing)

Never in my life i have experienced any worse than what I went through here. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. They don't stand true to their prices posted in various hotel booking websites and demand extra amount when you check-in. Absolutely hated it. No AC, washroom doors didn't have latches. No hot water, TV not working and room service is horrific.

First thing they charged me 500 extra.. So booking with oyo makes no sense.. Bad room i think not cleaned for past one week... Dirty bed sheet's and pillow cover.. I stayed 2 days and not even a single time they came for room service.. Over all Very bad experience

Worst place to stay!!! Made booking through OYO, when I reached hotel the receptionist asked me to pay extra 400 rs for no reason, I try to solve this issue through OYO but property manager and receptionist refused to talk with OYO customer care representative at the end I forced to check in with extra payment.. Rooms are very smelly not hygiene, bedsheet pillow and blanket are dirty and stinky.... Don't book this hotel, it's a scam.......

Third class hotel i did the booking Oyo when i reached the property they denied me saying the hotel is fully booked but matter of fact they gave rooms to 4 other walkin customers. I already did the payment online and they said to pay more 1000 rs. They hotel staff at reception was shady af. I heard from the people outside the hotel that many illegal things happen here and things get robbed from the rooms. I cancelled my reservation and booked another place as i would trust these thieves.

The worst experience for me in this residency . Staff was so rude to me .I booked room in OYO app for Rs. 400 .they didn't allow me untill I pay Rs.1000 extra. Rooms are not good .no water facility. I felt it would have been better to sleep on roads than wasting Rs.1400 there .how can you be so cruel with customers who comes from other state

Very, very poor. Oyo reservations - pls skip if oyo, they misguide us. Secondly, the hotel is not as per the name brand. Worst rooms, I paid for 1 day, couldn't manage, and immediately shifted to another hotel nearby with the same rates. Double think before choosing Grand....
