SPOT ON 60731 Hotel Kishan Palace - Hotel in Bikaner - Bikaner, India

Such a great inherit old beautiful heritage building turn to hotel. Close to bus station and walking distance to Largarh Palace. I'm going to write a constructive comment. 1. My request before i arrive for hot water kettle and hairdryer is granted but is not there when I arrive and just been advise they don't hv hairdryer just few hours before my arrival. Given me hotwater flask instead of hot water kettle. 2. Room book with breakfast. Sadly in the morning I been sent up and I don't know whether is a staff kitchen or owners living area to had just 2slices of paratha and a cup of coffee. 3. Bathroom room water and hot water. I only realised while I doing my business in the bathroom and there is no water. Clad with towel I need to go the reception as no in room phone to call. They switched it on later and to wait for it. 4. Room is beautifully arranged with antiques furniture and my bedhead with King of Bikaner portrait. Sadly only 1 white florescent light is work. If you a photographer u can't capture a beautiful photos. I ask for yellow light bulb on my bedhead lite only got red bulb instead. Room floor with carpet. It's full of sand and you feel it when step on it with your bare foot. Worse thing at nite, there are 2 blankets provides not suitable for chilly nites. I had to double it up as room do not have heater. The room bell is very laud. Will put the heart attack person on shock. 5. This is why I don't usually book this kind of hotel. The staff speak loudly outside of the room and walking outside the rooms like nobody business. Where is the guest privacy? 6. I met the owner. I understand your point on how hard to run this kind of budget hotel. As a customer we had choices, if it great is great and we will come back to stay in your hotel and peoples read reviews.

It is a renovated house of late colonel, Kishan Singhji, a part of the army of King of Bikaner, Shri Karni and Shri Gangasingh. It has ample parking space outside the property that has camera surveillance. The reception is in the ground floor. It has few smaller rooms in the ground floor. I had booked a larger family suite in the first floor. It had adequate seating area, an antique bed with storage compartment and antique bathroom door. The bathroom and toilet had modern fitting. The room had air conditioning and a charging point. It had older chairs and memorabilia of the Royal heritage on display in the corridor and waiting areas. The complimentary breakfast had aloo paratha with pickle and hot tea.

Please don't come here. Here some of the rooms are in very bad condition and the fan in the common dining room is 50 years back. Dont deserve the money against the room that we get.

Very nice hotel. Owner was very helpful. Room was large and bed quite comfortable.

Look good from outside but Very dirty hotel rooms, very bed service manager. Please do not select

Seriously a low standard hotel..no soap, towel, hot water..very basic bed, blanket quality very bad

Excellent place hosted by the charming and most informative Mahendra.Clean and dripping with family history.

Very good stay . Mahender singh is exceptionally good host.
