SPOT ON 38565 Hotel Surya Thiruvengadam St - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

Dear OYO Pls get your facts right before you promote some hotel in your list as top 3. I stayed here due to some emergency with family for few hours. The hotel rooms and corridor looks like a public toilet. These days I think public toilets are maintained better than this hotel. The word cleanliness don't find any place in hotel. Staff very rude the lift won't work properly. The door will always stuck as my husband tried to close it forcefully the staff quarrelled with him and denied him to go in lift. Very pathetic experience, I should have opted for staying in railway station itself than relying on OYO to find me a good room. With kids I troubled a lot, in this uncleanly place. Pls don't be fooled by the photos are reviews.

Very rude behaviour of staff and Manager. Service is also very poor. Don't book room online by looking at Uploaded images by the owner. Approx 1Km away from Central Railway station. Price is total: Rs. 800 for Non-AC & 1200 for AC room with 24 hrs. Checkout duration.

Very bad service from the staff and owner. They misbehave with our crew and especially ladies. The manager and owner behave like "Gundas" like cinema's. They captured mobile phone from one of our members.. Hotel look like public toilet... not a clean place... Please don't take rooms from here..they ask very high rent....Other hotels are in this area give far better service. There rate- only 618/- for 24 hrs But they steal our money 800/- for 24 hours and charged 500 extra for rooms after 10 minutes...and don't give balance amount of 200/- rs from advance... Very very bad HOTEL in the beautiful city in south India....please avoid bookings from here online and offline.....

Terrible experience at this hotel! The service was abysmal - rude and unprofessional staff who seemed disinterested in helping guests. The room was dirty and unkempt, with stained sheets and a musty smell. It felt like they hadn't cleaned it in ages. The amenities were in poor condition, and the Wi-Fi was almost non-existent. The noise from neighboring rooms and the street outside kept me up all night. I will never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this hotel at all costs!

Poor room waste of money even if they giving free don't come here

Rooms are adequately small and dirty. With a filthy bathroom and a wash basin. The double bed is shaky with a sticky pillow. Room service is the worst, one ph no is provided tho but no-one responds. Only 1 pros which I could find is the location. It's 2 mins walking distance from the main road and the railway stations are close. Restaurants are nearby, good quality not good tho. The most annoying part is the room rent. It depends on how you book, if you go with a auto rickshaw you will be charged more. Various rates available for same property, Rs500 room will be given at a cost of Rs900. Still finding the answer why this happens. Not a fare deal. I highly suggest not to go here at any cost.

Very bad this hotel.not good staff there are fraud with customer.dont come with outo also there are one ...if there take any purf there not giving back .. don't try to go tthis hotel... there taken my adhar card there not givin back very fool staff is working threr ..

the price was high for the ambiance of the room,no proper ventilation, bathroom was also not good.Mosquito problem was also there.
