South Indian Restaurant - South Indian restaurant in Gangtok - East District, India

Went searching for this hole in the wall joint, encountered an indifferent owner, it cannot be called a hotel by any stretch of imagination, just a long corridor with a small showcase filled with stale sweets, there was no visible kitchen, only a small pantry, the owner after persistent goading told me that no south indian or any food was available as the cook went home since covid, the place anyways didnt look hygienic as well, please dont waste your time even looking for this joint

This south indian restaurant is located near the Pani house road. Several varieties of sweets with other items are available. But the price is quite high if you compare with our place, but good price if you look around Gangtok. Quality of the item is good but taste is not that much good. Other restaurants around this available but the price is same.

South Indian Restaurant is one of my favourite restaurant. I love to eat Dosa with Chutney and Sambhar. Great experience.

Dosa is good, but still sambar taste needs to be changed. But this hotel is good for idli and dosa
