South Central Railway Central Hospital Zonal Railway Hospital for Serving and Retired Railway Employees & Their Families. The hospital has one of best emergency support department. Out Patient Block is good however understaffed considering number of patient they attend on daily basis. South Central Railway Headquarters Hospital, also known as Central Hospital/Lallaguda is located at Secunderabad, Telangana State of India, and dates back more than 75 Years. In 1927 a small hospital was started by erstwhile NIZAM RAILWAYS at the present location. Since the formation of the South Central Railway in 1966, this hospital has been developed into a Tertiary Care Referral hospital over the years. The present Hospital building has been in operation since 1972. The Old OPD Block and Administrative blocks were commissioned in 1974. Over the years, this hospital has been developed into a 400 bedded Hospital with various Departments with all modern types of equipment. This hospital provides complete FREE Treatment for Working and Retired Railway Employees and their families. South Central Railways Hospital is a very popular college in the state of Telangana. South Central Railways Hospital was established in 1966. It is one of the leading college in Medicine and Health Sciences. It is located in Secunderabad, Telangana. South Central Railways Hospital is a Government institution. 4 courses are taught in this institution. It provides PG course only. Under the Medicine and Health Sciences, there are a total of 4 courses. Under the Post Graduate studies, 4 courses are taught which are DNB (General Medicine), DNB (General Surgery), DNB (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and DNB (Ophthalmology). Admissions are also available for NRI Students.

The doctors are very irresponsible. I had worst experience in there. My elder mother is admitted there after a week and all reports are ready. The doctor(urologist) visits on wednesday but the nurse told me to visit doctor in OP. At there I had to wait for 2.5hours just to listen that he will visit ward after checking OP. after that he left hospital without visiting ward.we have to wait for another week because of his negligence .The public hospitals in villages are far better caring than this central hospital.There should be some authority to check the hospital and take feedback from patients. If there is option to complaint to concerned authority let me know details.

No sufficient wheel chairs, stretchers. The patients attender has to take care of everything in this hospital. The patients has to beg for referring to other hospitals. They will refer only if the patients is in high risk. Certain departments of doctors visit OPD only once in a week where patients have to suffer. Introduced token system for appointments which is of no use. Patients should stand in line and suffer.

I am a Severe Haemophilia 'A' patient and been treated in Railway Hospital Lallaguda from a very very long time and I take this opportunity to thank all the medical staff who were always been there to treat Hemarthrosis problems that I faced zillion times. Apart from me being a Severe Hemophilia Patient, im also physically handicap person so the medical attention becomes more critical where I cannot walk for long nor stand. In this regards doctors have taken utmost care and made sure that I am not been troubled by anything. I would like to thank Dr. Narasimha Rao, Dr. Jyothsna, and Dr. NVBK Sai, who made sure my treatment was happening as per need, followed the new developments in medicine, and treated me timely which made my life easy. Thanks to the Sisters and Brothers in Wards 2, 3 who made sure my biweekly medication is infused timely and my stay during the hospital is at peace. Stores department has done really great job in getting all the approvals on time for my medication and made sure that the injections are available on time for me without any delay in treatment. A special shout out to Shanmukh Rao Sir for always being there to help and coordinate. Being a handicapped person, it's difficult for me to travel, so I would reach out to him to know the availability of the medicine, and he was always there to help and guide me. He was always helpful in collecting the necessary documents to procure the medicines timely, which made my life easy. Thank you sir for all that you do. Thanks to the entire Railway Hospital Lallaguda for evolving according to the time and needs of the patients in providing better medical facilities.

@RailMinIndia @SCRailwayIndia @TelanganaHealth @KTRBRS Railway Hospital at Metuguda is providing the worst service in OPD no equipment to check fever and BP. The doctor is very rude and harsh Request concern authorities to provide feedback to Doctor to treat patients with humanity. She even says go and complain anywhere, when the patient is suffering from fever and high BP, how can she be so rude

South Central Railway hospital is one of the best hospital providing free treatment for the Railway employees and their families. Hygiene standards maintained by the hospital is good. SCR hospital is also rendering medical services to the patients suffering from chronic diseases by referring them to top most corporate hospitals for free treatment and lab tests. Dr. Sunil, Pulmonologist is one of the best doctor having lots of patience while examining the patients. And also in regard to Pharmacy department, Mr. Shanmukh Rao is an obedient and work oriented employee.

This is meant for Railway employees only. Pros: -Cleanliness of floors and inside wards are good. - a canteen for visitors near the entrance where u can get food at reasonable price and the taste is also good. - Staff are good/helpful. - lot of space and the area is not at all crowdy. - metro station(mettuguda)/bus stop is near by, 1-2km. Cons: -The toilet for male in the ground floor not mentained/ unhygienic. -No restrictions for dogs to enter inside. - cleaning of the bed side desks(provided to each bed for keeping medicine) are done in the toilet inside the ward which causes a lot of noise and it's irritating for the patients.
