Soorya Heritage Inn - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

I regret to share my disappointing experience at a certain hotel. Initially, upon arrival, I was informed that there was no availability despite having a confirmed booking. This lack of communication was quite frustrating. Upon entering the room, I was taken aback by the poor cleanliness. The condition of the room left much to be desired, with visible dust and unclean surfaces. Adding to the discomfort, the fans in the room were not working, making the environment stuffy and uncomfortable. Overall, my stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. The denial of availability, coupled with the lack of cleanliness and malfunctioning amenities, created a rather unpleasant atmosphere. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Had an horrible experience at this stay as they had not kept anything clean and it was like a haunted room with extremely dim lighting and restroom was stinking to the core. Manager and staff are not at all friendly and please don't waste your money and time in this place. Please don't fall by looks of this building exterior. Ultimate waste stay

This is a kind of heritage hotel. This might have been one of the royal hotels at it's time but now it needed renovation. Though service was good here but only visit here if you have a big group or check with them that they have other bookings too. Else you might feel yourself alone in such a big royal palace.

Very pathetic hotel, basically it is not a hotel it is kind of bhooth Bangala . Very disappointed me and my family some how manage a night. Pls pls stay away 1. Rooms are very dusty and old painted 2. Hot water -Geyser for name sake , completely not working. 3. TV just for demo only , not working. 4. Very awful smell. 5. Bathroom fitting 50years old all are zinked leakage. Pls don't saty

We stayed in this hotel on my visit to Pondicherry, the rooms were neat and well equipped with basic amenities, the interiors of the hotel had a rustic charm. The service was great, the management made sure our stay was comfortable. They also helped us rent a two wheeler to go around the city. Another plus point is the hotel's location is in the heart of Pondi, which makes getting around convenient - to the beach, to the French colony, to the cafes, bus station etc. Would definitely recommend staying here. They have extra services like Travel desk Tourist information desk Helping out for Breakfast Doctor on call

The worst hotel room in puducherry, they charged me 2500 rs for room in husband wife stayed just for a night, coming to the room the room was absolutely bad with cockroaches nd some kind of bad smell and the bathrooms are the worst where there is no proper taps nd the water gets stuck and it takes half n hour to clear those water. They are fooling people who visits puducherry, don't ever think to stay in this hotel

First we called and asked for details and price the deal was done in 2.5k for 4 members in one room 2bhk and then we visited his hotel he suddenly flipped and said no less then 3.8k it's last and final, he is a fraud and cheater
