It's a fantastic value for the money, considering the beautiful temple view and the tranquil sea breeze that comes along with it. Very enjoyable boat ride onto the sea. As it's operated by government it's price is affordable. Life jackets are also given. Boat time is 8AM to 5PM(varying due to climate and season.)

This boat ride start somewhere in the afternoon ant the last ride is at 5pm.. this is a government operated boat ride.. Ticket charges is Rs. 50/- per head, you are give life jackets to wear, later you can carry them in your hand also .. anywhere from 25 - 100 people can fit onto these boats.. They take you around for a 45 min ride.. you can see the temple Gopuram and the DD tower during the ride.. Carry water with you on this ride, there is a counter near the ticket window where you can buy some chips etc as well..

Definitely take a boat trip at agni theertham and don't forget to take a look under water there is shiv ji and ganesh ji murti inside the water totally worth the money and the view is superb
