Personally I didn't like the place, too crowded and not really kept clean, people come here to make purchases for whole sale business. Every building is cramped and dirty. There is also a lot of street dogs and cats. But even if the place is filthy the people there are really friendly and welcoming.

Sion is a railway station on the Central line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network, located in the Mumbai neighborhood of Sion.
Its location near the Mithi River means that the railway between Sion and Kurla, directly to the north, has flooded frequently during the Indian monsoon. However, in 2019, the Central Railway conducted work to raise the trackbed by four to six inches to prevent future flooding. Previously, 30 mm of rain in 24 hours flooded the track, but now there will be no disruption of services with 100 mm of rain per day.
Despite this work, the tracks near this station still experienced waterlogging and flooding during the 2019 floods in Mumbai.

Awesome place to visit anytime. Truely a natural place in the chaos of city. Sion Lake is must visit in day time. There are beautiful ducks, Fishes and Turtles in the lake. Lake is surrounded by eye-catching trees. Lake is located between two Forts. And there is a chanting temple of lord shiva besides the lake. Lake is said to have underground water fountains.
Sion is a Rail Station after Matunga in the South & before Kurla in the North on Central Line.
Platform 1 is for North side Trains towards Khopoli & Kasara Routes.
Platform 2 is for South side Trains for Dadar, Parel & CSMT.
Only Slow Train services are provided on Platforms 1 & 2.
It has a good space here ....infrastructure is nice and u can travel almost whole central of Mumbai from here.....but need to be clean...and then need to be maintane that.....

It's a beautiful and very enormous sculpture of British time. Earlier known as VT station now it's named as CST. Very elegant vibe at the night time. Very neat and clean place, even when there is lot of traffic and people.
