Sinclairs Retreat - Hotel in Kalimpong - Kalimpong, India

This resort is one of the best in West Bengal in terms of pricing, ambience and location. The hospitality, the service, the rooms, the staff, the amenities and facilities are all top notch. A person can use the swimming pool or t use the gym or even walk around the beautiful campus. There is even a park and badminton net for the children. There are also massage and spa services for the ladies. One thing I noticed is that they are very generous with the food portions and not stingy at all, and the quality and taste of food is also top notch. They even provide clothing iron if needed. There is also a bar and pool(billiards) table here. All in all a very good resort. One caveat is that they did not provide us with toothpaste and toothbrush, other than that everything else is provided like shaving razors, shampoos and other toiletries. If I had to rate it out of ten, I would give 9.9 out of 10, a near perfect score which could have been achieved if they provided the toothpaste and toothbrush. The campus is also very beautiful and you can click photos here as well. And the staff team here is very kind and humble and they are doing excellent work. I would highly recommend this resort.

I dont have a proper word to describe this place. Its magical Name any segment and this resort stands out. Be it their location, or their service or their food everything is too good to be true. I visited very recently for our office conference where we booked the entire property of 44 rooms with over 90 guests staying in the rooms. The staff ran day and night to keep us comfortable but never did I find anyone not attending to us. Downsides, pool is not maintained properly. I was given a stupid reason of rains and blah blah for the green water because happens on account of improper maintenance and their pool table did not have cues. The table tennis racquets need replacement, so does their badminton racquets. Considerable care and expense needs to be done on the games section. Their duplex rooms are awesome and would definitely be loved by kids Almost every room has a balcony where you can relax. Did not visit the gym, but seems to have everything. Their welcoming was also lovely with a welcome drink and a cloth Garland. Overall a 5 star experience but the management needs to be on their toes to keep it as it is.

I am writing to express my family's disappointment with our recent stay at Sinclairs Kalimpong Hotel and to bring to your attention some concerning aspects of our experience. Despite being categorized as a super deluxe hotel, we encountered several disappointments during our stay, the most notable being the absence of Wi-Fi facilities. In this modern age, where connectivity is integral to both business and leisure, it was unexpected and inconvenient to find such a basic service missing. Equally disheartening was the response we received when we escalated the matter to the reception. Regrettably, the staff took no discernible action to address our concerns, leaving us with a sense of neglect. Furthermore, it was surprising that there was no consideration given to the possibility of a partial refund for the inconvenience caused. As guests who chose Sinclairs Kalimpong Hotel with the expectation of a super deluxe experience, we feel compelled to share our disappointment with the hope that these issues can be rectified for the benefit of future guests.

It's an amazing Hotel surrounded by mountain & the View from Room is superb to heal the nature , Hotel reception ,support is efficient .

This is a luxurious property at Kalimpong. It's situated before Kalimpong market. It has awesome cozy rooms with all modern facilities. A conference hall with a capacity near about 150. It has Great view and a beautiful swimming pool, an indore game zone and a spa as well. Unfortunately foods were not up to the mark taste wise.

Great hospitality and very good food. However, price is little on the higher side. The property is large and looks beautiful in the night. On the negative, rooms need little bit of up keeping. The staff is polite and courteous. They also provided special services like room upgrade and chocolate and drinks.

If you are looking for a quiet place, far from the maddening crowd then this place is a good option. The approach is very pretty and the property is very scenic. It's so relaxing to have a cup of coffee or tea on your balcony. If you have a car then all is good but if not then getting around is a bit expensive. A cab from the hotel to the market and back, with one hour waiting is Rs1000/-. You can also walk down to 6th mile and take a local cab costing Rs30/-. The walk down and up is steep. The rooms/bathroom are very nice and so are the linens. Breakfast is good and staff is very attentive. The in-house massuese is excellent.

Location is very beautiful, bit in outskirts but everything is available within the resort. Staff is very humble n prompt.
