The property although simple has all the amenities that is expected from a star hotel. A value for money experience, must say. A smooth and hassle free check in along with warm and polite hospitality by the front desk staff. Rooms were neat and tidy with a beautiful view of Gangtok City and the nearby hills. Food was equally delicious and the breakfast spread was wholesome. Many a times, hotels compromise on the quality of breakfast owing to it being complimentary but this hotel is and exception. The property also has swimming pool facility which can be availed upon intimation and also sightseeing facilities are provided. Overall, a pleasant experience and would consider choosing this property for future visits.

I was pretty disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Room was spacious but totally lacked any luxury. The basic amenities were lacking - no Tissues in the room, Soap dispensers in the bathroom were broken, housekeeping replaced them but they still did not work. No heating in the room so I was provided with a little portable heater. No safe to store my valuables, no fridge in the room either. Pretty basic for a 3.5star hotel. On the plus side, the hk staff were good. Coffee in the restaurant is like hot water and the breakfast buffet choice was pretty limited. The location of the hotel was good but I was extremely disappointed overall.

The food looked nice and was tasty as well. The service were quite good and the staff were very helpful. The venue was quite spacious and has big rooms which are capable of organising events with swimming pool in the compound itself another plus point is the ample parking space which is best for people who bring their own vehicle . The unobstructed view of gangtok is very open and can be clearly seen to give a view of the Himalayas when the weather is clear. Details for Tourists: local taxis are available throughout the day to M.G. Marg which is the town centre of the gangtok which takes about five minutes by taxi or tourists can take a walk to MG Marg. Other places which is quite close is Delting Denzong which has a casino, Vajra World mall, here many eateries like KFC, Local Cafe, Buzza Scoopa icecream Parlour outlets are available along with the Reliance smart and electronics shop outlets, there is also a cinema hall which is the best in Gangtok, tourist places include Enchey Monastery which is around 2 km from the hotel and a Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden which is around 12 kms. Close to Vajra World mall is a North Sikkim taxi stand from where you can plan your trip to Gurudongmar Lake, Lachung, Yumthang Valley, Cholamu Lake, Thangu Lake etc.

A big 5/5 for this hotel in Gangtok. We booked a valentine room in the hotel directly thru Sinclairs. I and my wife always looks for a luxury stay for all our trips and sinclairs Gangtok really ticked all our check marks. Room was awesome, well cleaned with beautiful view. I have attached pics of the views from the room which were actually breathtaking. Apart from beautiful location and rooms, the hotel staff - Reception and housekeeping staff were very polite and decent. I had booked room for 2 days but cancelled for 1 day because of a sudden plan change due to landslides in nearby area and they didn't charged a single money for the cancellation which was very accommodative. Coming to breakfast, food , in room dining & bar all were super good. Really recommended this place for gangtok. I think this is one of the best Sinclairs property in north eastern regions.

The experience of staying at Sinclairs Gangtok was an average one, though the staff were good specially the breakfast organising team. The property premises and the location is perfect. The amenities were missing like the swimming pool was not in a usable condition (cockroaches were floating, etc), in the name of indoor games, it had just ludo and chess. I was with my family with 2 kids and hence we had booked a Premier Suite room but the main door of the same was not getting shut without pushing it. The door look of the toilet was not at all functional. The room service was not available after 10:30 pm. All four of us were playing UNO and our elder son called to order for dinner at 11:00 pm thats when we came to know that room service was not available after 10:30 pm. Usually, the room service is available for round the clock in hotels where you pay a hefty money per night. However, since we needed the DINNED without fail, on our insistence and when we spoke to the chhef Mr Jaidev, we got the dinner by midnight for which we were very thankful.We, all four of us have stayed last year for two nights at Sinclairs Ooty and the overall experience was good be it the indoor games or room door or late night room service.In short, my family do not want to stay again at Sinclairs Gangtok because of the not so good experience they had.

Best hotel I have stayed in Gangtok. The view from the room is excellent. Rooms are huge with all facilities you need. Service is excellent. Staff behavior is excellent. Though the location is a bit far from MG Marg, it's a 20mint walk downhill from the hotel. The food service is very good. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Given option I'll always book this hotel. They do have pool, but it was empty since the weather was chilly. If your looking for pool, don't expect the pool to be operational since the weather there is chilly.

One of the best place to hangout with friends or family.... The infinity pool is just breathtaking..you can just see whole gangtok from poolside .. food was good but the service was excellent.. the staff of this hotel are friendly.. especially..Mashal, Bishal, Sujata and Parikchit... Had a great time..hope to visit again soon...
