Silver Oak is a great place to stay. Accomodations are very nice, the rooms are modern, very clean, and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and cheerful on a continuing basis. They are there to assist with baggage, room service, and cheerful advice on places to go and items you may want to purchase. Srinagar is a wonderful area to visit and Silver Oak is there to make your stay memorable and most pleasant. Greg Strawn

The owner and the staffs are very arrogant. After being caught red handed in an airpod theft issue, the owner was busy justifying his staffs through drama. During check out also they tried to fraud us by manipulating the restaurant bill. So better avoid.

Too good rooms , staff is so cooperative , and well hygiene and cleaniness and best place in good price..

Positives: Nice view, quiet location, spacious rooms, polite housekeeping staff. Negatives: Poor management, (received a call in our room at 10:45 at night asking if we were checking out the next morning even though we were booked for 2 more nights) Lack of hot water (lasts about 5 mins, although the geyser looks large don't be fooled - it also takes 2 hours to reheat) Very small and flat pillows that seemed the size for a cot and not a proper bed (we asked for 2 additional pillows and they brought us just one more) A random hole in the ceiling above the bed that is unsettling for several reasons (see photo) Crumbling ceiling in the bathroom (see photo) Rooms are not heated so be aware when booking in cold weather. The restaurant was closed during our stay, which wouldn't have been an issue except that you should know, when ordering food through swiggy, that restaurants close very early here and you had better place your order before 8pm.

It's a wonderful experience to stay here, we stayed with family here from 30 may 2023 to 1 june 2023 , rooms r too good so beautiful & very clean, Manager Mr Sunil Rana is gentleman & very kind person his staff Gurdeep is a provided best service, The outside View from rooms r so beautiful over all it's a best hotel to stay at Srinagar. Thnx Mr Rana to Guide us for all tour & for best hospitality. ...I will gave 5 star Rating for This Wonderful experience

This place is located at perfect location in Srinagar as it is very close to Dal lake, almost at walking distance. The location is very beautiful and it is surrounded by beautiful lush green mountains, gives you glimpse of the beauty of Kashmir. It seems to be very safe and posh area, as big row-houses and bungalows are build in the vicinity of guest house. Guest house rooms are very clean and they are maintained properly. Room has almost all the required stuff which are needed. Hotel service is very good, staff is very cooperative. You can also order food, they cook very delicious food. Overall I had a very good experience of staying at this place. I would like to visit again in the future.

Everything was good. Room, staff service all good and found same as per the previous reviews. Good for family or couple. However, food is expensive.. Location is nice close to Dal Lake and Nishat garden.. However, it is a bit far from the central location Dal gate ghat no 1,so you won't be able to go for a walk around for a main market or street shopping.. One nearest spot for food is in the Nishat Market, opposite to nishat Garden, where u can get variety of food at reasonable price but timing in winter around 10am to 6pm . Visited last week of Oct.
