Me & my son traveled to Sikkim & Darjeeling on 30th May to 7 the June This is our 1st time travelling to north India with the help madan sir. He is very polite kind and main thing comparing to other travels his cost is very reasonable and less,he gave us very good condition innova car and we had a language problem only we can speak in English so he arranged driver who can speak in English what all query's we tells to madan sir he use to listen us and to clear the qures he make us to satisfy. So the 1st day from bagdogra airport to gangtok driver Kumar came to pickup us he was little bit good in English on the way he took us to river rafting a good hotel and the dropped to hotel in Gangtok Day 2 we start at 8.30 a.m to nathula pass & changu lake driver came with his wife and begging me to take his wife and not to tell his boss madan sir as good hearted I told OK because its already getting late for me and I thought not to argue in the 1st day On the way to nathula pass driver wife asked for wash room so they went and we were waiting more than 10 mins we went and saw the driver & his wife were eating after half an hour he started the car at last we reached to nathula pass we are entering there on the top one of the army person told us to get down just now we closed . because of driver & his wife delayed in the middle of our trip we missed to see the meeting of India & China border. The same Kumar driver came to North Sikkim he came 1 hr late after picking us then only he use to fill the fuel for the car and showed lot of attitudes like if we ask anything he tell yes yes OK like this acting like without knowing the language he don't tell any place name but he use to tell & shows his wife he did not clean the vehicle he did not inform anything like what time we have to start nothing we use to wakeup in the morning in Lachen & Lachung hotel managers use tell about the places history of gurudhamalake they told the timing and in Lachung zero point valley driver stopped the car and he just got down to have his tea & cigirate I got down and searching for wash room there the lady were selling tea & snacks she told me this is end point after this there is no way this zero point valley then only I knew I thought it was tea break so only driver stopped the car . See this is the way of behaving with the tourists person because of these persons owners are getting bad names and less ratting . And for south Sikkim pelling driver Arun came with another innova car with good condition and his driving was awesome he don't no English but he use to tell the names of the places and my son use to understand Hindi & he speaks little bit Hindi so we managed he takes us very good care he use to tell the timing & other details. He dropped us in Darjeeling from there madan sir has arranged us an other persons in his team Mr.Pranin to take care for cab arrangements. But he don't cordinate properly and don't arranged the cab so we missed tiger hills site sun rise view So little bit dis appointment . Instead of 5 stars I have given 4 this is only for madan sir and his own driver Arun. Minus 1star for shown attitude by driver Kumar & in Darjeeling Pranin dind not co ordinate properly. SIKKIM OCT 2022 - THE MEMORABLE AND BEST TRIP EVER SIKKIM PEAK TOURS AND TRAVELS - OUR CHOICE We are the group of 5 Vietnamese travelers. After more than two years of tourism blocked due to the Covid Pandemic, we had chance to go abroad. And Sikkim was the destination we chose for our first trip abroad. I decided to choose Sikkim Peak Tours and Travels because this company had an extensive experience in tourism activities; the online ratings for the company were very positive, mainly good rating for (1) the services quality and (2) the ability of quick settlement of unexpected situations. Must say that I haven't regretted for my decision at all. 1. Sikkim Peak Tours & Travels and Mr. Madan (the boss) provided us with very good and dedicated services: (i) Vehicles: we were supplied with a new Toyota Crysta, the driver Pramod was so cute and devoted. In the second half of the journey, Madan himself joined our trip and drove his own car to go with us to the south and west Sikkim. (ii) Accommodation: we were arranged the comfortable, warm hotels/homestays. In Pelling, Madan arranged us the hotel with best view to Mt. Kangchenjunga and there we had the most beautiful sunrise in our lives when the mountain appeared in all shades of brilliant colours. Especially, Madan arranged us a day to stay at his home in Yuksam, that made our trip the most interesting mark ever. (iii) Sightseeings: The tour program, therefore, was reasonably arranged and distributed between religious/pilgrimage spots and natural sightseeings, covering all the east, west, south and north parts of Sikkim. 2. Above all, what I highly appreciate is Madan's ability to settle the unexpected situations. He made reasonable suggestions when there arose a force majeure that led to change of our plan. When we arrived in Sikkim, the October's weather was not same as every year. Due to climate change, it rained for a long time, causing heavy landslides in the northern region. So our 3-day plan to the north was canceled due to road block. At that time, when the schedule was forced to change due to natural disasters, he quickly come up with an alternative plan, he went to the hotel to discuss and agree with us on the revised schedule. THE MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES Our journey had some changes in comparison with the initial plan but in the end it brought us the most memorable experiences ever. Madan joined our group from the part to south and west Sikkim as our driver, guide, and companion. As a driver, he showed his good driving skills even in the bad and winding roads. As a guide, he suplied us with lot of knowledges on Sikkimese history, culture and religion. As a companion, he shared all joys as well as difficulties during the journey with us. As a Sikkimese citizen, he showed his responsibitily to protect the environment, to prevent any activity of nature injurement and promote an organic lifestyle. With him, during the time in south and west Sikkim, we had days of beautiful weather, visiting monasteries and admiring the great statues. It was a blessed journey that we will never forget.
