Pandit DilipKumar Shukla Ji is knowledgeable and conducted the rituals elaborately with patience and calmness, explaining in detail, the procedures about the place and rituals.Extremely satisfying experience.PanditJi was extremely reasonable ,not greedy like others around.He provided the Pooja items and also guided about other temples around.Adviced to book the ritual in advance.Definitely recommended!!

Good place to relax. It's spiritual place but goverment has developed it well. Garden space is good. Best place to visit with children. People here who do spiritual process of death are suspicious. Cleanees inside temples are needed. Sarovar isn't clear to take bath.

Pandit performed the rites with very good concentration and reverence deserved by the one who has passed Place can be kept cleaner, especially the bathrooms.

It is the best place to pay Homage to your departed mother. One can do Matrugaya Shradh for his mother and get free of Matru Rin. And thus send the mother to Heaven (Baikunth Dham) and help her get Moksha.

Apart from being the center of Hindu faith, it is also the main place of Mata Tarpan.

Only Matru gaya tirth in the world. When going for pind daan or shradh vidhi.. make sure you reach as early as possible may be by 7 to 8 am it will be good and less crowdy. Pooja time is 1 to 1.5 hrs.. They provide all things required for Pooja vidhi. You will have to bargain for cost as they say it is 3 to 4 k for middle class, 7 to 9 k for upper middle class and 9 to 11 k for rich class. I had to pay 3 k including all daan and dakshina, but later when enquiring found that person who cannot afford can also pay 500 to 1100 and Pooja will be done. Make your own decision, bargain and decide before doing Pooja, make sure they follow all vidhi mentioned in their book or notes. You will find a lot of pandits when you go there, in case you need number let me know.
