Wonderful experience!!
Only 12km away from Halebeedu temple. The temple has unique architecture and a well maintained garden, so greenery all over. Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. A must destination if you're nearby.
Really calm and peaceful temple. It's much nicer than the other temples as you can take your time to view all the carvings. There are apparently 108 pillars holding up the temple and each has a unique carving style.

Well maintained, neat and clean surroundings Hindu idols inside the shrine was so clearly visible against light..well explained by priest who was obliging and humble. Architecture and sculpture of this temple still intact and no evidence of attack from enemies. Good architecture and sculptures. Visited in the afternoon at a hot sun which we felt the heat at that time but manageable. Parking your vehicle would be challenging if there were more crowds. No restroom available nearby, best to look out for petrol pumps especially for ladies.
We visited this temple on the way to Bangalore from Chikkmagaluru. Its one of the oldest and ancient temple in India. One dont need much time to visit. One can visit the whole temple in just 30 minutes. I really liked the temple and carvings of it but found it weird that one has to ask the priest to show the idol and open for the people. They dont keep it open and expect us to ask them to open and show us the main temple. Anyways, apart from this, they have a huge garden. If you wish to go inside, then dont, because it is full of thorns. Im sorry to use the word, but its so foolish to keep it open. I actually walked and got both the feet full of thorns and on top of it they were laughing. First of all, they should put of sign of thorns and if not that then close the garden. Dont let anyone go inside. Instead of feeling sorry, they were laughing and my foot got full of thorns. I got stuck inside and my sister had pull me and also she got thorns on her foot. How stupid it is!
No entry fee. Parking place not available, park anywhere you like.
