Sri Puruhutika Devi is not in Paadagaya Kukkuteswara Swamy temple. It is in the near Sri Paadavallabha(Dattatreya temple) swamy temple walkable distance only. After Sri Paadavallabha swamy Darshan you can also a wonderful darshanam puruhutika devi,..You can ask anybody they will tell you, So please darshanam purihutika devi(10th Sakti Peetam). In the Kukkuteswaraswamy temple the priest(Poojari) they will said this is a real devi. Don't believe those priest words. Puruhutika devi temple is a Oldest Temple ever in pithapuram. In distance of Kukkeswaraswamy temple you can arrange Auto or Your Car, the loaction is Old Bus Stand You can see the arch of Puruhutika devi. It is a Oldest temple around Pithapuram. Puruhutika Devi temple in Pithapuram is one of the Astadasha Shakti Peetha temples. This temple is dedicated to Lord Kukkuteshwara Swamy (Lord Shiva) and his consort Goddess Sri Puruhutika Devi (Goddess Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi). the goddess is installed in a separate, independent shrine. The idol facing north is in the standing posture and made of granite stones, about four feet in height. The deity is adorned with glittering gold jewels and rustling silks.

Out of 18 famous shakti peetams , this was the 10th one & I have got a chance to visit this famous temple. Feels peaceful. One main thing here is you can see all 18 avatars of goddess which were engraved on main temple walls. Coming to Covid protocols, most of the pilgrims wearing masks. Since there wasn't much crowd,no issues in social distancing. Asides with a Rs. 20 ticket, you can get an antaralaya darshan too. Asides here you can plan your baby naming ceremony, aksharabhyasam,shraadh karma pujas etc...
