Shri Neminaatha Swami Basadi - Featured Reviews (60)
This temple is an amazingly calm place to visit. The architecture is old and many of the sculptures and carvings are eroding away. The surroundings are extremely tranquil. The darshan of god inside is good.
The main highlight of this temple is that it is located on the middle of the pond. There is a small boat that take you to the temple and way back. The temple is located quite far from the city. The pond is really beautiful with lot of fish and lotus
People find the Gomateshwara statue as the best attraction in Karkala, but I would definitely go with this other Jain place of worship. Located away from the town, this temple is in the middle of a lake. Charges are nominal and only for the boating.they charge 10rs

Nice jain basadi(temple). Must visit place along with kere basadi. This basadi is better than kere basadi. Old store sculpture is available written in "Hale gannada"(hlle gnndd)
Priest is very friendly and he is happy to explain the history of the basadi.
Temple facing lake temple, ancient stone carvings and old kannada scriptures. Must visit. Beautiful and pleasant statue of Neminath Bhagwan carved in black stone. Must visit
A beautiful Basadi facing the Varanga lake. The stone carvings are very intricate and there are scriptures in Old Kannada (Hale Gannada) carved on stone.
The Basadi is much larger that the Lake Basadi and has ample space around it.
