Temple is on sea shore. Definitely a must visit temple at least once. The Shiva statue & Gopurum here is very huge and beautiful. There is an artificial cave under the statue which has the story of the Murudeshwar temple depicted in sculptures. There is also a lift which takes us 18 floors up and we can see the view of the temple and surroundings bird eye view,which is very stunning through windows. Temple serves meals. Parking available

There are minimum tickets of 20/- and 10/. The proper over look can be taken from the tall temple structure of 18 floor by lift but it will be crowded. The beach is also nice with water sports like Scuba diving etc. There are many shops and hotels around. A must visit place.
