Shri Mailar Mallanna Temple - Hindu temple in Bhalki - Bidar, India

Khandoba is the beloved deity of Maharashtra.Sri Kshetra Mailar is a very famous Hindu pilgrimage site in Bidar district of Karnataka.A large number of devotees come here from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. A big fair is held here in the month of December, various food stalls, different kind of toys for children atmosphere is very pleasant and main thing is that they provide space for cooking so many people prepare their food here and showing Naivadyam to Khandoba after that they go to home with a happy heart...Yelkot Yelkot Jai Malhar...

The temple is in very good condition though it's very old . The surrounding makes us disappointed,specially the cleanliness.. it is not at all expected and acceptable the way the premises of temple were in sp shabby look...It would have been far better.. No provision of public rest rooms nearby ,making pilgrims litter around..

Amazing place to visit with family and friends. This temple has very good vibes and positivity. Located around 20 Kms from the city of Bidar on a Bidar-Bhalki road. Blessed.

It is the one of the most famous and Awesome Shaiva Kshetram. The Pooja's which done here are good Worshiping Mallanna is most lovely thing. But, There is No Toilet facility in that remote area where Mailar Mallanna was Exhausted. No clarity about Water and other food facilities also. Buses are very less to temple. Only own vehicles and private vehicles can reach here.

Its one of the different place to visit...The floor wall everywhere yellow.. they are covered totally by turmeric. It indicates the medicinal value of it. There is also a big tree besides the temple which is occupied by a lots of monkeys.. and a clean lake is also present there.. near to it there is Shaneshwara temple a powerful god of indian mythology... Totally its a Good experience To visit here

One of the oldest temples around Bidar. It is dedicated to god Khandoba. Very good ambience. It is appx. 10 - 15 kms from Bidar. If you are traveling by bus, get the ticket for Khanapur. Usually, there will be large number of devotees on sundays. So plan accordingly. A must visit place. Jai Malhar...
