Beautiful well maintained hindu temple. Bright colors used for exterior. A pretty house is attached to the temple. Dedicated to Mother Devaki & her son Lord Krishna.
Awesome temple in the island. Cool calm place
The most calming and religious temple you will find around Marshall. It has even got room booking facilities in advance for the people visiting temples, even a canteen facility is available.
I recently had the privilege of visiting Sri Devaki Krishna Mandir, located on the serene Chorao Island in Goa. This sacred temple is a hidden gem that offers a truly spiritual and tranquil experience amidst the natural beauty of the island. Sri Devaki Krishna Mandir holds a significant place in Goan culture and spirituality. It is the only temple in the world where Lord Krishna is worshiped with Mata Devaki, his biological mother. As soon as I entered the temple premises, I was enveloped by a sense of peace and serenity. The architecture of the temple is stunning, reflecting traditional Goan style with its intricate carvings and vibrant colors. The sanctum sanctorum, where the deity is housed, emanates a divine aura that is both captivating and comforting. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Devaki, and their presence can be felt throughout the temple complex. The devotion and reverence of the temple priests and staff are truly admirable. They provide insightful information about the temple's history, rituals, and significance, enriching the spiritual experience for visitors. The lush surroundings of Chorao Island add to the enchanting atmosphere of the temple. The island's verdant landscape, dotted with coconut palms and swaying trees, creates a peaceful ambiance that perfectly complements the temple's spiritual essence. A walk around the temple complex allows for quiet contemplation and a chance to connect with nature. One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing the traditional aarti ceremony. The melodic chants, rhythmic drum beats, and the mesmerizing sight of the deity adorned with flowers and lights created a truly magical experience. It was a moment of devotion and gratitude that will remain etched in my memory.
Quiet and serene place. Temple is very peaceful and absolutely love the way it is beautifully designed by vibrant colours. Point to note is that there is no parking for vehicles. So I suggest you all to park away from the place before leading up to it. Road is also a little congested to navigate through. Overall a beautiful temple to visit but to be completely honest, there are still bigger and better temples for fans around.
Felt blessed after visit the temple nice calm environment
I had an excellent experience doing my 200 hour yoga teacher's training. The atmosphere and food are excellent and the teachers are inspiring, committed and genuinely lovely people. Soaking in the lush greenery was rejuvenating not only to the body a
Wonderful place reacheble by ferry. The ferry ride is also the cheapest on this planet. The island has a wonderful green cover & traditional houses. I think outsiders cant purchase property here to preserve the heritage value.
You won't get a chance to mold your thought into negation, once to step into the vibes of Ashram. A stunning view would help you to blossom into serenity.
Stumbled upon this beautiful in-house restaurant run by Fatima aunty by the name Lafayette, in Chorao Island. A huge 30 year old tree and a passion fruit plant overlooking a beautiful rustic old Goan house, Fatima aunty welcomed us into her home and
