Shri Bettada Bhairaveshwara Temple - Hindu temple in Mudigere, Mekanagadde - Chikkamagaluru, India

The template is beautiful and situated at a very scenic location. It's a 700yr old temple. The approach road is closed for road maintenance but still vehicles can travel till the nearest parking spot. There is no parking ticket. If u hv 4x4 vehicles it's easy to ride because the road conditions are not good currently. With 4x2 also you can drive but you need to be careful.

Its 600 year old temple specially meant for photo shoots, 500 meters of journey is there from parking to temple n behind there is beautiful trekking n view point which would be 20-30mins of trek

This picturesque location is enveloped by lush green forests and majestic mountains. It houses the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, although its maintenance may not be up to par, the overall appearance is still quite pleasing. It is worth mentioning that road construction was underway during our visit.

Temple is the only attraction with green algae on its dark walls. Which makes it more attractive in rainy season. Place is serene but gets crowded during weekend.

Temple is the main attraction in this area, but the roads leading to this place is not so great. Just before 500 meters it is pathetic, may be recent rains ruined it, it's better to park the bike and reach the temple by walk.

This is my favourite place among all the temples i have visited, be there on weekdays and within 7 am to enjoy utmost nature beauty and enjoy that with no crowd. Just don't visit for photos and all, its a temple place ao make sure you treat it as a devotional place and not just a tourist place. Respect the rules they made, so that you enjoy every bit of that place.

This is such an amazing experience with mind-blowing view. Blessed to be there also you can find a small hill called Pandavara Betta which is just around 1.5km also you can climb that betta.

Place is serene but gets crowded during weekend. Last stretch of road is very bad. It is better to park the vehicle like a km away and walk. Temple isn't always open. One can hike to the top of the mountain if they wish too. There is small water stream close by. Seen lots of people getting their pre wedding shoot done here.
